It doesn't use pesticides either, which is a big bonus. It also raises the food off the ground which is supposed to be better for cats in general. Really happy with this purchase. The only thing I would like is the option to buy a slightly bigger one, and some type of mechanism to attach a feeder to it so that a strong and persistent cat won't knock it over. Currently, I'm thinking of a way to do this with magnets and such, but I don't know if it will work or not. I just ordered it, but I had to do some research to learn how it's designed. I also had to make sure the company was legit and still active because the sparse information made me question whether the company had abandoned the product. However, after taking the time to do the research, I decided to give it a try. If it works, it would be perfect for my needs. **Q: How large is it?** A: The Antser has a 9.5" x 13.5" upper platform which rests on a 10.375" x 14.375" base. It is 1.6 inches tall. It weighs about two pounds, depending on how much water you use to fill it. Due to the round-cornered lip, the “safe” working surface dimensions are 9.25" by 13.25", and you should have a space at least 10.5" x 14.5" to accommodate it. **Q: What are the dimensions of the barrier tray?** A: Measurements of the barrier tray are 14 3/8” wide by 10 3/8” deep. The top tray is slightly smaller. But if you want to know the footprint on the floor, those are your measurements. Ingenious device. **Q: Why does it take 8 days to ship? You'd think paying 12 dollars would get you priority shipping** A: Actually I routinely ship via Priority Mail, unless it's a larger order to the east coast.
