3 Gallon Clear Glass Italian Carboy - 30 mm Cork Neck Finish (CORK NOT INCLUDED)

After over twenty years of 5-gallon spring water delivery service, the quality of the water deteriorated so I decided to refill my own bottle with water from an under-sink filter I installed to remove the chlorine taste and impurities/metals. This bottle is perfect and it fits in my existing cooler perfectly. I purchased a set of silicone lids on Amazon that have plugs in the center to accommodate the spike on the cooler the bottle sits over. The larger size bottle (5 or 6 gallon?) might fit, too, but the glass is very think and heavy so I chose the 3 gallon size because the weight of 5 gallons of water plus the glass seems too heavy to safely lift for me without the fear of dropping it. So glad I bought this! The glass is thick and perfectly clear.

Lovely glass bottle made in Italy. I5 is awkward to handle and carry. We grew accustomed to the plastic 3-gallon jugs that have a well-designed handle built into its shape. (Just wish the glass people could design something similar. It would be a HUGE HELP.)

I love this! I was drinking out of a Brita pitcher, due to all the plastics out there I decided on buying this 3 gallon jug as a healthier option. It’s glass but it feels sturdy and durable. A bit more on the expensive side but its a great value health wise. The size is perfect to carry. I also bought a stand that you can find here on amazon for 3-5 gallon containers.

Works great as a replacement for the plastic jugs for the hot/cold water dispensers, all glass so you don’t get any micro plastics
