Excellent
I bought this little DAC to replace the built in Bluetooth receiver in my Ampster BT II. The transformation in quality of sound was huge. No longer muddy vocals and boomy bass, this DAC created a beautiful, deep soundstage that enabled all of the instruments to shine.It is well made, created from a thick chunk of Aluminium. The display is clear. All controls are positive and I love the on/off switch for a bit to retro chic. Would buy again.

Essential audio
With everything connecting via Bluetooth these days a high quality connection is essential. Ease of use and various ways to connect is a must. I play laptop through the built in DAC via USB and tv through Bluetooth. My Yamaha AS-1200 amp has no DAC or USB connection and the DS600 brIdges that gap.

Issues with other remote contols changing settings
I am having annoying issues with my other remote controls (Humax) changing the Mode setting.Tried all 6 configurations on the Humax remote but still it changes the Lavaudio Mode.I've contacted Lavaudio about this but they have no remedy.Been using a piece of aluminium foil in front of the Lavaudio but even that doesn't stop the signals.Will have to return if this is not solved.It's a pity because I really like the sound it produces.
