Ugly Stik Fishing Bag, 15-Liter

As a novice fishermen getting into the saltwater fishing game, I needed to upgrade my tackle box from a store plastic bag with fishing gear in it to something that could hold more tackle, be organized and look great. After much research and checking at various stores, I decided on this product. I was happy with it when it came and there is a ton of storage that helps you stay organized. Knowing where everything is and that it can be accessed very quickly makes fishing more fun especially when you need to get your gear quickly when the bite is on. The quality of this product is top notch and it is built sturdy! The zipper pulls make it easy to access your stored gear. It comes with 4 see through storage trays that secure nicely in the main compartment and keeps the majority of my tackle organized. I fish on the Chesapeake Bay and do some off-shore fishing as well, and this holds everything I need to catch fish from white perch to Striped Bass to Black Sea Bass and Flounder. It has performed well in a salt water environment. It looks new, even after one season's fishing use. Great product!!!!Updated Review: It's been 3 years since I purchased this fishing bag. It's been on numerous fishing trips on the Chesapeake Bay and on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean off Ocean City Md, and on Virginia's Eastern Shore. I just emptied out the bag after a recent flounder trip and washed the bag with soapy water and let dry. It looks almost brand new, all the zippers still work just as the did on day one when it arrived. No rips or tears, it cleaned up very well. It has been splashed with salt water and rained on as well sun beating on it all day while out on the water. I thought this was a really good product so I wanted to provide an updated review after it had some time to go through some heavy use. I Highly recommend purchasing this bag to hold a bunch of fishing gear.

I'm really impressed by this. I got it to replace the basic Plano tackle box I had been using for a couple of years I used while I learned how to trout fish. It's clearly is a bag designed by people who know fishing and has lots of little pockets that are extremely easy to access and lots of smart ways to store all of the stuff you need for fishing. The design details are what stand out to me: a removable tool pouch on the front that comes ready to hang pliers on your belt or on the bag. The four cases that come included also each have a very secure closures and a ruler in inches and centimeters on the cover. And finally the bag has easy pull zippers (that really are easy) and simply looks nice throughout. For the money this is a high-quality product that is perfect for tossing in the car or even traveling on an airplane to that perfect fishing spot.

Good bag. It has tons of storage space. Has a zippered compartment on top/front where brand “Ugly Stik” is. It’s on the smaller side 3” deep and about 8” wide. Zippered pokers on each side 5” deep about 6.5” wide and good space. On back has a 4.5” deep x 10” wide pocket that has a Velcro hold plastic webbing. On front has 2 buckles to keep closed, adjustable. Front pocket is zippered 6.5” x approx 9” and has 2 Velcro pockets and a key clip. On the outside this pocket is another zippered pocket about 5” x 8”. There is also a tool holder that attaches to the bag or your belt. Main compartment is huge. Holds the 4 provided containers with room on top for more items, about 7” x 11”.So far.... I really like it and would recommend it.

Great little bag. Looks good. There is a lot of room to store your fishing gear. My complaints are that the strap could be longer. I'm a bigger guy and when I cross my body with it, it sits under my arm pit. Then I put it in the washer because I spilled garlic dip and dye on it then it "melted" in a couple spots. I used cold water. That's why it didn't get 5 stars. But I do love it and will look for another bag from them but bigger because my fishing gear is always expanding.

Bought this for my brother for Christmas as we both kayak fish the flats in Tampa Bay, Florida. I am so impressed with this bag I'm getting one myself as my Spiderwire bag is just a bit too dang big for kayak fishing. This bag is perfect size (not too small or too big) and will hold alot of gear. I especially like the molded heavy duty water resistant bottom as we get a little water in our kayaks getting in and out when wanting to wade an area to sightfish. Its an amazing bag so if you're on the fence about it all I can say is pull the trigger on it. You wont be disappointed. I've looked at a LOT of these bags in my quest for finding him the right one (Bass Pro, Dicks, WalMart etc.) For the price and for what you're getting this is the ONE for kayak fisherman.

I love this tackle bag. I use it for a lunch bag. I will never go back to using a normal lunch bag again. Tackle bags have so many useful pockets. I also love the way it stands up on its own and doesn't cave in on it's self. This is my second purchase of the same bag. After years of use the first bag was fraying in one corner. I retired that one and made it a tool bag. Great overall quality.

Nothing to dislike; love all of the pockets and places to store my fishing accessories. Now I am organized when I go fishing and love the convenience of being ablt to grab and go. Quality product that I would recommend to anyone.

This bag looks cool (aside from it saying "Ugly Stick" very visibly right on the front), is easy to carry and fits plenty of gear for me and my daughter for a day of lake-fishing (though we aren't avid fishermen).I've only had it a short while so I can't comment on durability but I will say that it looks/feels well-made. There is an external quick-release needle-nose pliers holder for easy access (which I don't use, but it's there if you need it).Comes with 4 small tackle boxes which fit in the bag perfectly. But I wouldn't recommend using these for very small tackle (like tiny swivels and such) because they can slide under the dividers. They work fine for lures, small bobbers, splitshots, etc..If I lost this bag I'd happily buy it again.
