This was a gift and a huge success. Great value for all that it does. If you're flipping homes, its perfect. Lightweight, seems to be accurate and is very easy to use.

Very nice I love it, but sometime it doesn’t really specific identify the metal from the wood

I paid a little more for this because of the extra features, however with plaster and lath walls I could not get reliable readings for the feature that finds the actual center of a wood stud rather than just the nails. Only the nail finder part worked for me, so I had to find 5 or 6 nails along the stud and put a line through what looked like a statistical scatter plot to estimate the center of the stud. Was verry tedious and time consuming as it will tell you are centered on a nail when you are left or right of it by a 1/2 inch or so. I had to move it left and right, make two marks and find the center of the two marks for each nail. It did alert me to live wires though, but the feature was too sensitive to find the exact spot.

Lo compré principalmente para instalar unas estanterías pesadas y un soporte de tele en paredes de pladur, porque me daba pánico taladrar a ciegas y no pillar madera. La verdad es que me ha sorprendido lo preciso que es. Te marca perfectamente dónde empiezan y terminan los listones de 2x4 que van por detrás, así que sabes exactamente dónde meter el tornillo para que quede firme.Tiene varios modos y el tema de que te avise si hay cables con corriente pasando cerca te da muchísima tranquilidad antes de hacer un agujero. Al ser recargable te olvidas de las pilas, que siempre se gastan cuando más las necesitas. La pantalla es muy clara y el aparato se calibra solo en un segundo contra la pared. Para cualquiera que haga reformas o chapuzas en casa, te ahorra muchos disgustos y agujeros mal hechos

This is honestly the worst Stud finder ever. This thing can’t accurately detect anything. I tried finding a stud and once I thought I had it, I didn’t. The electricity feature doesn’t work unless you’re directly holding it on top of an outlet. Returning this. I don’t recommend.

This detects wooden studs, but it takes a lot of understanding to figure out how to detect metal, wires, pipes, etc. I’d rather pay extra and buy a special tool for each need.

excelente, finciona muy bien

Works really well. I tried a cheaper detector but it was very hit and miss finding the wooden batons in the stud wall.

Been using it for a while now and though it does fund the studs, it also shows electrical sign though there was no electric wires behind the wall which made me alot doubtful while working on walls with electrical wirings so not recommend it.
