It works
A tad tight going into my old Galaxy J7. Had to force it in. I just use the old phone like a small tablet so it doesn't matter. Takes a charge and the phone now works. Good for a few more years.

Battery doesn't last, phone shuts off even though battery has more than 50% charge remaining.
DO NOT BUY. Got this battery second week of October, by the first week of February, it was already failing. The first thing I noticed was it was a hair too large...it took some effort to fit it into the battery slot. But it took a charge and ran, so I used it. Within four months, it was not taking a charge, and even when fully charged, it would abruptly fail, shutting off my phone. I switched out charging cable, switched to a newer Samsung charger, no help. Verified every morning whether or not it took a charge, towards the end would only get to 68%, and that would not last through the day without restarts. Finally switched back to my original battery. It's been more than a week of testing, and even though the original battery won't charge more than 70-80%, it still lasts through the day WITH NO SHUTDOWNS.
