James (Macarthur Study Guide) Paperback – September 1, 2006

It is an excellent bible study which goes deeper which I like. The questions can be applied to you and are challenging. The book gives definitions of many words. I would buy Nother one of his bible studies!

This just happens to be my favorite book of the bible. Now that I am sitting her writing this review, I am encouraged to review this book once again. James is known for several reasons, one of them it being a succinct book. We should all be encouraged to review scripture on a regular basis. MacArthur in this book helps to draw out key points that are helpful in a generic study. As always there is so much more...

The thing I like most abut this book (and the series) is that it has the scripture to study right there along with the definitions/explanations to many parts of the text on the side. It really helps when studying His word.I highly recommend this for group or individual study.

This Bible study is amazing!!! I love the way that each section of a verse is explained. I understand that John F. MacArthur has done other books of the Bible using this same format and we will be using more of them for our studies. I would recomend this "series" for anyone's Bible study.I am sure you would enjoy it.

I am studying James, using this study guide and Wiersbe study guide. Wanted to have learning points from two good biblical teachers. Good learning!

I guess I didn't realize it was written in by the prior owner, but that is fine. I am using it in my Bible study. I ca still fit my answers in there, ha ha. It was cheap and that was what I needed. All the content is there and readable, and it is interesting to see someone else's thoughts and answers.

I really like the format of John MacArthur's study series, especially the notes on the verses themselves. However, this study on James has a lot of repetitive questions. Since James is a short book it seems like they really tried to draw it out to make 12 lessons, making some of it repetitive and overall a somewhat boring study. James in itself is no way boring, but drawing it out into 12 lessons made it seem so. Would have been better to have combined James with another short book into this volume.

This is an excellent study. It's in depth - no rushing the questions. When I finish this study, I will get another one James MacArthur study. Excellent teaching. I started this study hungry for God's word and this study certainly is a feast.
