This fit the bill. My previous one had a recessed metal loop but it broke. This one has a rubber one that slides in and out. Different but it does what it's supposed to (keep me from dropping my big 'ol iphone 7 Plus - I have small hands as I'm petite). The kickstand was a "bonus" but honestly, it's very flimsy. Reminds me of a paperclip. LOL. If it's positioned anywhere other than dead center, your phone will not stay up. It has come apart but I was able to squeeze it back into position without any issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Faulty Knob *by A***Y on April 23, 2018* Love the style of this case, it's the second one I bought after I gifted away the original to someone who needed it more than I did. Second time around, however the round knob that's used to slide the ribbon in and out broke, making it extremely difficult to adjust.
