Incredibly powerful sound
I put these pickups on a Jackson Rhoads, and it drastically improved on the sound. Although for anyone looking for a versatile pickup I wouldn’t recommend these. These are more meant for songs by Mayhem and Burzum, but it still sounds good regardless. The eq on it is more mid than anything, but does have a some balance. Regardless of that it sounds killer with a Seymour Pot change, and highly recommend these for people into Burzum or Mayhem. Even for people who play Black Sabbath these are great for. More for metal than anything.

For sure the best pickups from Seymour Duncan
These pickups are truly one of a kind. I’m not a Seymour Duncan guy but these blew me away and are now becoming my new favorite pickups. Can’t say enough great things about them. They may scream metal but these are great for most genres too.

Pretty badass pups.
I've been a JB/Jazz guy for a long time, but the Alpha/Omega set are incredible. The cleans are rich and the Dirt is crisp and clear with plenty of chug.

Tight and focused higher gain pickup, great for modern hard rock!
Swapped out my stock 85/15 pickups on my core 30th anniversary CU24 with these, more gain with clarity! Great for hard rock but they clean up nicely as well.

Best Metal Pickups you can get.
I have tried most every "metal" pickup you can get. I now have the Alpha/Omega in 3 of my guitars. These actually deliver the manufacture claims. It does everything great. I play black/death metal. These pickups do well for both. Lows for chugs and highs for dissonance. These are Mark Holcombs so they can obviously do prog djent. I don't see any pickups replacing these for me. If you play metal you will love these. I expect they would work for everything else as well. Mark covers a full spectrum in his playing.

Great pickups for anything rock/metal
I chose these pickups after doing research, looking at comparisons and reviews. I went from the sentient/nazgul set to these and immediately loved the change. I play hard rock to hardcore and can’t speak highly enough. Articulate, punchy and aggressive gain with solid cleans to pair with it. Just ordered another set to replace a JB/59 set in another guitar since they don’t hold up to the Alpha/Omega set.
