I have tried several styles of earplugs, including the popular Loop earplugs, and found that none do an exceptional job of noise canceling.I am primarily interested in using earplugs when I’m traveling by plane. I have become accustomed to the excellent noise-canceling feature on my AirPods or Bose Quiet headphones, and I’m looking to mimic that dampening of silence in a more compact fashion, such as an earplug.Just by browsing, I discovered these Alpine earplugs and decided to take a chance on a brand I was unfamiliar with, based partly on the positive reviews and because the other earplugs failed to yield a good result.I’m glad I took that chance because I was impressed with Alpine earplugs' ability to cancel most ambient noise in my home. I do not live alone, and even the TV playing in an adjacent room sometimes disturbs me.I have not tried them on a plane yet, but I have a vacation scheduled in a month, so I will try the Alpine earplugs on the flight and provide an update on their effectiveness.Until then, I’m happy with their performance. Also, these Alpine earplugs are obviously reusable—they even have a small box to hold them. I will have to see firsthand how well these Alpine earplugs hold up to repeated use instead of the foam earplugs that I usually buy and dispose of after one use.Ultimately, I recommend these reusable earplugs for seriously dampening noise around you. Just make sure u follow the directions about pulling your earlobe up and then slipping the earplug into your ear canal for the best fit.

First I will say that earplugs are surprisingly personal and what works for the masses might not work for you. But for me, these are the only ear plugs that really work. They fit like a glove, there is no hard edges commonly found in other ear plugs that make me feel uncomfortable. They stay in all night, seal better than all others I've tried. You can check my reviews, I've tried a bunch! I thought I'd venture out but no this has still been the best one. I also find sizing is forgiving because of the cone and stepped shape. I regularly use the small and medium interchangeably and they're both comfy

I have an upstairs neighbor who is very nocturnal with random hammering of objects and other noise. I was only getting 3-6 hours of sleep for the past month. Bought these earplugs. Wasn't very optimistic they would work, but I needed SOMETHING to help me sleep through the night. Put these in last night around 10pm, and slept throught the night for the first time in weeks. Was able to sleep uninterrupted until 8am this morning! When I first put them in, I could still detect sounds, but they were very muffled. By morning (they had stayed in my ears through the night), the sound blocking seemed even better. I suspect the longer they are in your ears, the tighter the seal. Woke up so well rested, positive and happy this morning. I used the small size, and they were very comfortable, even when sleeping on my side. My physical and mental health give these Alpine SleepDeep soft ear plugs all the thumbs up. Amazing what a good nights sleep can do!note: I took away one star for pricing. They offer a multipack of 2 (sm and m/lg sizes) for cheaper than the purchase of one set. Not sure why they would do this. Was going to order another set of the sm size ear plugs, and saw that those cost almost the same as a set of two in the multipack/multi size set. The med/lg would be a waste for me to buy, as they're too big for my ear canals. Guess I could give the larger set away, but I think almost $20 for one pair of ear buds is quite high, considering they suggest changing them out after a month. So these do not last indefinitely. After noticing this pricing, I may try another brand of the same style, as I'm on a budget. But I still give these high praise. Just wish they weren't so expensive for a single pair that fits me.

I’ve been using these ear plugs for 2 years now, every single night. I started looking for ear plugs when I worked midnights. I tried around a dozen different kinds until I found these ones. They get rid of all the little sounds that wakes a light sleeper during the night. They don’t hurt my ears. They are soft. I replace them every so often due to me wearing them daily. I highly recommend.

The day they arrived i tried them out that same night, i could immediately tell i had gotten much better sleep the next morning and my mood improved my a noticeable amount throughout the day. im so glad i got the multi size pack the medium/large size fit great! ive been using my Alpine ear plugs for a little over a week and i use them on and off depending on how i feel but i hands down know im sleeping much better with improvements in my quality of life all around. They aren't sound proof but everything is significantly quieter and the earplugs don't bother me after a full nights sleep, they stay in well and the little tabs on them make them really easy to take out in the morning. I'm a side sleeper and these never press against my head or anything i sometimes use a sleep mask that also covers my ears and they don't get in each-others way.These are the first earplugs Ive purchased and they have exceeded my expectations, I'd buy these again for myself or others and i feel the product speaks for itself.
