Font size too small!!
The publishing is extremely substandard for the amount paid. Although the publisher is penguin, the font size is kept to bare minimal, which is very stressful to eyes. The product MRP is Rs 799, the publisher should had increased it by 100- 150 Rs if he wanted more profits and avoided such a terrible experience for the customer. Also amazon did not allowed return, it allowed only replacement, so stuck with the product. Wanted to try the book after reading the articles of author on medium, but the publisher ruined the entire experience and money!!!

Each graph and page tells an interesting historical story.
Do you remember that scene in "Back to the Future" where Marty McFly just realized where he was and how different today is? Especially funny was the scene where a car pulls into a gas station in 1955 and a crew of men rush out to service it. In 1985 that business full service style was no more and Self Service stations became the new norm. Maybe you have you seen movies where you pull into a parking stall and order a burger from a lady on roller skates. Now fast food restaurants have replaced these former icons.Changes like this are often OK as gas and burgers are still available whenever you need them. We just slowly changed the style of distribution. Icons like this come and go and the movie scene tells us a quick historical story. So what else are America's slowing changing social norms? Did Grandpa really walk 5 miles to school uphill both ways?New icons replacing old ones don't tell us everything as there is a social change always slowly underway. This book shows the generational delta but with social trends born out of factual studies. Each graph tells a tale of what it is like and how it is today. It does not matter what political spectrum you favor. Trends of facts that affect our lives since the early 20th century have unfolded gradually and often unnoticed. With this book you see them again. You feel informed and are free to decide the meaning. It is a very fun way to learn some really good facts.
