Day Late And A Dollar Short

I'm a big fan of Whoopi, but not necessarily some of the movies or movie rolls that she has catered to over the years. For sure, Whoopi is naturally funny--but I simply adore what she can do on a serious note (i.e., "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" episode. I've seen this episode twice--and I still shudder at Whoopi's performance.). Comedians like Whoopi, Robin & Richard are the perfect poster children for heavy (bone marrow) drama. Kudos to Terry McMillan--and welcome back! The characters are well thought out; the script is intelligent, smartly funny…complex, but clear. The letter reading scene is heart-wrenching and most effective. Bravo and thank you to Tichina, Anika, Kimberly and Mekhi—and Ving! I do hope Miss McMillan can find her way to do the sequel of "Waiting to Exhale." Because, Terry…girrrrl, you know you can work a conversation between characters.

It is a great movie to watch.It is so much drama in the family. LolI really recommend this movie.

The story line was engaging and the acting was excellent.

It was funny, on point in many ways and I enjoyed the cast. Happy to see African-American people employed. I would recommend it and definitely feel I got a good movie for the price of the video.

A great movie! All families fight like cats and dogs against one another; don't let there be a death, O"hell breaks out among the siblings. I bought the book long time ago and could not get past the first chapter because of the harsh profanity and language. I did not finish the book and pulled it out to read, but couldn't. A great selection of actors too.

It’s been a few years since I read the book. I still enjoyed the movie.

I HAD THE BOOK NEVER GOT NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO READ IT.THE MOVIE IS GREAT I 'VE WATCHED THIS MOVIE TWO TIMES EACH TIME YOU GET A NEW MEANING OF HOW YOUR CHILDREN WERE RAISED.AND HOW YOUR LIFE CHANGES WHEN EVERYONE HAS GROWN UP AND LEFT HOME..YOU WILL REALLY ENJOY THIS MOVIE GET IT.

I think maybe it's nice? I have not received no parcel yet. How can I comments on this DVD'S orders have not been received it yet. Because they postponed the date. So I have to wait until the next shipments.
