The non egg egg
So let me preface by saying that I’m not vegan so I don’t hace a vast plethora of experience with this veggie based nonsense. However, I DO have a pretty nasty (newly developed) egg allergy.....and dang did I miss omelettes! This stuff is amazing. Granted the texture and taste isn’t an egg nor will it ever will be but it’s close enough! (Think military or school lunch style eggs). Add some hot sauce and tear these bad boys UP! YUM. I’m not sure about the “surfer smell” that others complained of, yes it has a very mild odor before mixing but I had to literally put my nose in the bag to smell it.Also, I noticed that it was indeed my milkshake and not my fake eggs that brought all the boys to the yard. So prepare for that as needed.#OmnivoreApproved!Side note, this is clearly not an American product so be familiar with milliliters and grams for the preparation and use medium heat! It looks like pancake batter and cooks like it too.

Strong corn flavor
Not what i expected. Not recommended for scramble eggs has a very strong flavor of corn which I personally dislike. Didn’t like the texture either. I guess it can be used for baking but I haven’t tried it yet, so I’m not sure make it work for that.

Not Egg... Not Even By a Long-Shot: Tofu Scramble Does It Better
Although I have put off purchasing a Vegan Egg substitute for a good while, the reason why has always been the price. I was certain that (given the advances in Vegan food development) there would certainly not be a concern in regards to quality, when I finally decided to purchase this product, and similar. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Rather what you get is something more similar to a stiff Gravy made with chick-pea four, and corn-starch. It does not have the texture or taste of egg, and will not crepe or frappe ("what's the word I'm looking for her?") like an egg. The end result, will not scramble, and you certainly aren't going to be able to make an omelet out of it. The taste isn't bad, although (for some reason) it tastes better when it has had a chance to significantly cool off. It's not bad, it's just not Egg... not by a long-shot. Don't give up on your Tofu Scramble.

Eat them while they are hot!
I'm not vegan, but I have an egg allergy and I really miss eggs. I've been making these for years and they aren't bad. I cook them like an omelette but instead of flipping for the 2nd side, I chop it up with the spatula in the pan and cook a bit longer, having them like scrambled eggs. Don't listen to people saying they are bland, that's silly, just throw in some spices and they are delicious and very eggy tasting. I use the special black mineral salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and paprika. Wonderful flavor. The texture is a bit like undercooked eggs however, yes they are a bit mushy. If you eat them while they are hot, like immediately off the pan hot, don't wait, they are great and texture is fine! If you wait even 5-10 minutes they are gross. Unsure why cooling down makes them mushier but that's my advice!

Mushy no matter how I cook it.
I've made this a few times now and no matter what, it is mushy. It's like it never fully cooks. I had high hopes for it, but am very disappointed.

Next best thing to real scrambled eggs. It's as close as it gets, to the chicken version.
This product tastes great once I got the hang of making them. They were quick, easy, and flavorful. I would buy again buy again but the price skyrocketed.

Bad for every reason
I tried a bunch of different kinds of Vegan egg and I have to say this is definitely my least favorite.Flavor FTexture F-Ease of mixing FEase of cooking FPrice DIt has a flavor that comes across a little bit like raw flour. Somewhat bitter. Even when well seasoned with black salt, pepper and nutritional yeast the base flavor comes out.The measurements have to be pretty exact (grams and ml you have to convert to imperial if you are in the USA) and even if you get it right youll be questioning yourselfThe texture, no matter how long you cook it? is squishy and mushy and wet even though it congeals in to something that looks vaguely like scrambled eggsWhen used in baking it works but there are better alternatives and the flavor I mentioned before comes out a little, (starchy bitter taste)It's also pricy for its quality . Cheaper than other vegan eggs but not worth it for how bad it is .

taste just like eggs!
i love this product. going vegan was hard and still is. changing my diet because of health issues is not easy. however when you can get products like this that are better for you, taste great, and easy to make it helps to keep on track with the diet. overall i am very satisfied about this egg supplement.only problem i found was there is no directions or mixture ratio? so i made mine a bit thick the first time. but in time i can figure it out. in the future you should add that to your box since its expensive already to try to guess and waist a lot of it to do so . thanks!
