Helpful for travel
We used this for our almost 2 year old and it was wonderful. He is on the tinier side but he was secured nicely, and did a great job wearing it. It comes with a travel bag, and I just carried it in my purse which was convenient. It’s really easy to set up, and on the planes we took it didn’t bother the people behind us. You just have to open their tray table prior to putting it on (it doesn’t go over their tray table). The one we purchased did have the correct FAA tag on it.

Works on Delta
We got this for our toddler and used it in Delta economy. Straps worked great, and no hassles from flight attendants or passengers. Got on early and slipped it under the tray of the passenger behind us. They had full access to their tray and we had a secure place for our toddler during takeoff and landing

Usefulness
This was helpful traveling with a petite 3 year old as she wiggled out of the airplane seatbelt before I attached this harness. Attaching the harness kept her better strapped in. However I had difficulty keeping it tight on the back of the seat thats the reason I would rate it at 3.5, anUPDATE on 12/8/2024- I’ve used this 6 or more times since the 1st review. It’s a really good product. My petite toddler is now 5 years old and it’s amazing. People on the airplane are always curious and when they see how well it works, they are thinking of getting one. I never travel without it moving the rating to a 4.5

It works!
Held the toddler down! Miracles are indeed priceless. I'm not going to say it was the easiest thing to install, but if you can enlist the passenger behind the child's seat everything will work out fine.

Better than car seat?
I flew with my sons car seat once and NEVER AGAIN. So big and clunky through the airport and if your kids anything like mine it’s too confined for them on an airplane. This is the BEST solution for flying, it’s easy to toss in your purse/ diaper bag and my son LIVED being able to look out the window and felt like a big boy being able to sit like everyone else on the plane! It takes less than 30 seconds to install and flight attendants are familiar with them and happy to help!

Horrible product
Did not stay tight. Unsafe, had to buy a carseat for the plane back from vacation!

Relieves stress of first time toddler travel!
I read a good amount of arrears before purchasing this. I went back-and-forth between a couple different options and ended up settling on this mostly because it seemed like it was sturdy and super easy to use. I kind of practiced it before we left, but found it was extremely easy to slip right over the chair. I had already tightened it, so it was just a matter of loosening it up for my son when he was in the seat, I felt really comfortable, once he was secure and didn’t feel like it took a lot of time to put on the chair and was obviously even quicker coming off. I stored it in my backpack for the flight home. It was even quicker. This was a genius idea. I am so thankful to be able to have used one and more even more thankful for all the reviews I read beforehand! Definitely a must have for toddlers on flights

Not worth the hassle
Seemed like a good idea for airline travel with a toddler. It took two adults to try to secure the strap around (and under) someone else's tray table. It kept falling down the seat and once our toddler was harnessed in, we wondered how difficult it would be to get them out quick in an emergency. We ended up not using it and the seat belt strap on the airline seat worked just fine.
