I purchased these black filters for the value. I have used Berkey brand black filters for a few years now and thought that I would try another brand. I am very disappointed in at least one of the filters. I gifted my son a travel Berkey and took one of my Filterlogic filters and the fluoride filter for it. I properly primed it and it filtered well for the first couple of gallons. We checked for an airlock, none present. We primed it again, no luck. We forced air through the filter and primed it again. It filters water from the first 3 inches of the top of the filter and then stops. Water droplets appeared on the entire filter for the first prime, however not on the other re-primes. The filter is in San Francisco now, so I cannot return it. I am very disappointed and am concerned that the other filters that I purchased will do the same when I change them out in a year. My current Berkey filters won’t need to be changed until then.

Folks, listen up. There are no results of any tests. If you are smart enough to own a Berkey, than use only certified Berkey parts. These things are pathetic

These items are not like my original Berkey filters. Just because they are cheap does not mean they are like OEM version so I( question the filter quality.

I purchased these and some Berky filters at the same time.these were Packaged better than Berky filters and arrived alot faster. They seem like they work just as good and they are alot cheaper.

They work great for me .
