The hardware itself is very rock solid, though installation is not trivial. There is a good instruction guide online but you need to be handy to install this lock. The only negative is that for a lock of this cost range you should be able to remotely engage the top lock.

Lock works as expected. Just that the door open/close notification takes some time (> minute), or sometimes doesnt update at all. sensor is less than 1/4" from the magnet. wifi hub is less than 3 ft away from the main internet router and the door lock . it's for a side door in the garage where the gateway is located so I dont think the problem is the proximity to the hub or the router. fingerprint reader works great. I wonder how long the fingerprint reader and touchscreen will last as the door is facing south and gets full sun in the summer. I did install a cover, for a ring doorbell. not an exact fit but at least it shades the screen and fingerprint sensor from direct sun. will update the review next year see how it stands against harsh summer sun.

The media could not be loaded.  We’ve been using this for about 2 months now. I have the door handle on the opposite side of how it comes originally. In order to reverse the handle it was a lot of trial and error because the instructions were slightly wrong. But after some disassembly & reassembling afyer following the instructions, it worked.It has been great since.
