For basic operation this works well; it has good sensitivity and finger tracking, and the buttons are clicky and responsive. No problems there.You can't do any multiple finger gestures like scrolling with a two-finger touch, and the buttons are not ergonomically placed so they aren't that easy to press. But this is for industrial use and not really desktop use, so I think that is a fine compromise to make.I needed a trackpad with buttons for my desktop and wanted to try this out. It's not too bad. I think the lack of multi-touch scrolling will leave me looking for other options, but if you are fine with basic point and click operation (and it's fine for dragging and dropping, selecting text, etc.) then this may do the trick.It worked right out of the box on a Windows 10 machine because it presents itself as a mouse so it's definitely plug and play.

Cannot use this pad to scroll the screen because it is not capable of processing 23 fingers on the pad at the same time (MultiTouch). Worked fin for clicking buttons and pushing the mouse around the screen, but the real benefit is to be able to scroll a screen without having to hunt for the slider.

Just what we needed for our video kiosk, where a touch screen is impractical because the kiosk is behind a glass wall.

This is a decent trackpad. It worked with my Mac. Nothing overly fancy. Does what it is supposed to.

So this is a nice touch sensitive mouse alternative for many types of devices that have USB connections. I have used this on both my Windows laptop and also on my Acer Chromebook. The unit is small/compact and fits easily in my laptop bags with all my other portable devices. While this slim little device is very cool and works great with many applications I still prefer using a standard bluetooth mouse which seems to offer me more productive options for what i commonly do.

If you have need for a portable, external, touchpad, this may be just what you want. It is small, lightweight, and works great. Installs easily, just “plug and play” with no driver software needed. I’m using it with Windows 11. The touchpad has the appropriate response to finger movement and works as it should with the system configuration settings, including pointer speed, left-right button switching, etc.I like that is has actual buttons for left and right clicking. Other touchpads, such as those built into laptops, have touch “areas”. These real buttons have a tactile feel that provide positive reinforcement feedback that the button has, indeed, been clicked.There is no middle button. At least none that I can figure out. I tried clicking both at the same time thinking that might simulate a middle button click, but it didn’t. And there was no user’s guide enclosed.The touchpad can be tapped for a left-click, and double tapped for a double-click. That’s the way it should be, and it is.This unit would be especially good for use in tight spaces, like the seat-back tray on an airplane, where there is little room to move a mouse.There are, however, a few things that could be better.The case is made of hard plastic which gives it a slick back side. As such it is prone to moving when using it on a hard smooth surface, such as a desktop. I found myself holding it with my thumb, middle, and ring fingers while directing the pointer with my index finder. Much like you would hold a mouse.It will help to put something under it to provide just enough friction to keep it in place (it does not take much). It would have been nice if the product had been built with a soft, thin, rubber-like material on the back that would have provided the needed grip to keep it from sliding when used on a smooth surface.Perhaps that’s why the screw tabs were provided on each side? I really don’t understand the need for them. If they are, in fact, an afterthought to address the slipping issue, that doesn’t really solve the problem. Are you really going to screw the unit down to keep it in place? Afterall, it is billed as a Portable Trackpad.The wire exits on the right side (see red circle in photo). The cable tension somewhat amplifies the slipping problem. And, it could interfere with placement, especially for left-handed users. A better location would have been at the top (at the arrow in the photo). The wire pressure may have also provided some push-back helping to resolve the slipping issue had the exit point been at the top.And on the end of that wire is a USB type “A” connector. This is intended for portable devices that don’t have a trackpad. Such as tablets. Which tend not to have type “A” USB ports. So, an adapter, a USB hub, or something else will likely be needed, which will also have to be portable, and is one more thing to pack. A USB “C” type connector would have been better. In fact, at this price, a Bluetooth connection would have been a good idea (for about the same price, Amazon has Bluetooth keyboards with touchpads). Replace the cable with a USB type “C” port at the top (include a cable in the box), and let it be used either wired or via Bluetooth. Now that would be a 5-star product!Overall, it is a good device. It installs easily, works well, and is quite portable. It may be just what you need, but it could have benefitted from a few design improvements.

This 2-button track pad works quite well. The pad is responsive, and the two buttons have a solid and smooth action. The base of the trackpad has two holes for permanent mounting, if that suits your needs. The only reason for not having a five-star rating was the absence of any kind of rubberized gripping material on the back of this trackpad to keep it from slipping around on the desk.
