I was so pleased so try this as I have an iPhone 8 that wouldnt charge more than half way and then the juice it did have didn't last very long.To be honest, I'm not sure id have been able to fit it, but my other half managed and it didn't take him to long (though he's good at things like this)I used the phone for a couple of days instead of my main phone for work and the battery has lasted most of the day without needing to be charged, which isn't bad going for me as I was a heavy user both days.I will definitely replace barriers in phones again when needed instead of selling them for next to nothing. For some reason the 8 had the worst battery of any iPhone I've ever owned and we only kept this as a spare, but at least we now know we have one that would genuinely be of use if we ever break our main phones.

Very useful kit full of all the tools you need to do the job. The quality is not the best but you don't need them to be. They are here to to one job and one job only. There are instructions although the text is very small and I recommend reading or watching a more detailed guide. The installation is a bit fiddly and time consuming but if you are slow and careful you should have no problems. I think this is a great choice for anybody looking to unleash a new life for their phone rather than going out and buying something just a bit more shiny but essentially the same for a lot of money.

Failing battery life is the curse of smartphones and especially my iphones. It was a case of throw away my old iphone 8 or give this a try. It was a bit of a gamble, but it 's a neat little kit and if you follow the instructions carefully it can really breath new life into an old phone. However, it is a bit fiddly so make sure you have a good space and peace and quiet to work in before you attempt the battery transfer.

Expected much longer battery life but its no better than a standard battery. Only plus is that it’s cheaper than having a battery replaced by Apple.

Make sure you don’t have kids running around you and you focus 100% on this battery change project.I watched a few youtube videos as well before starting the ops.In the end I managed to change the battery with no damage to my phone.The battery holds quite well, much better than the old one which shut down my mobile when it reached 30%. It was impossible to open the I Phone 8 with the kits provided so I gave up as I did not wish to damage the screw head. Wasted money buying this kit.
