As I said in a sister review, I am a big fan of Trokar circle hooks. The other name brand hooks say, Gami/Owner/Mustad are high quality and plenty sharp. But Trokar is a cut above. “Tacky sharp”. But, as with all hooks, they don’t stay sharp for long. Problem is, at $1 + per hook you will not replace them when you should (I don’t). I have decided after years, I am going to change to the alternate brands. It’s only human nature, you wii dump a dull 30 cent hook much faster than a $1.10 hook. I also just bought 100pcs direct from China hooks (you will wait 3 to 4 weeks.) They are chemicall sharpened, cost around .10 cents each, and very sharp. Stop using Trokar and change your hooks more often. It’s more efficient.

These things come SHARP. They compare well to the Gamakatsu's that I normally use from what I can tell. Now, I'm fishing the Susquehanna, so the biggest cats we have are around 40-50 lb flatheads (so no idea how these would hold up on monster blues that they have down south or anything like that), but for my purposes, they've worked great! Haven't had one bend out on me or anything like that and the hookup ratio seems on par with other premium brands I've used.

Hooks work great do what they are supposed to. My only complaint about them is the gap of hook point to shaft is smaller than I’m used to but that’s just me

I caught over 100 keeper reds this summer. Trokar hooks have increased my hookup percentage by at least 30%. These hooks puncture those tough redfish jaws with ease.

These are seriously the sharpest hooks I've ever seen. I've seen sharp hooks before, but these are on a whole other level. Price is a bit high, but you know what you're paying for when you feel that point.

Very sharp sturdy hooks. Personally, despite the extra cost, I will use Trokar hooks for every application I need. Hopefully they will eventually offer more styles than they currently have. They are absolutely the best hooks on the market today in my opinion. Not to mention that Trokar hooks are made in the USA.
