Super Light weight and very crisp image.
I have had several other spotting scopes (Leupold sx4 15-45, Vortex razer 80mm and 60mm. This spotting scope is by far better than both the vortex I had in every way possible. The image is crisp and sharp at every magnification and is very light weight perfect for backpacking. The only thing it should come with is a cover.

Great Company
I have a fifteen year old Kowa 821. The paint on the main barrel became soft and tacky. I called Kowa in California and they had me return it to them. Six months later it was returned and it looks brand new...NO CHARGE!
