Tad small
These JUST BARELY fit a standard 6inch can light opening. They do say max opening size is 5.5inches, but a standard can is 6inches. They barely work for a standard can hole, so long as it is cut right up to the fixture, and there is nothing outside of the can hole to cover. Manufacturer should probably make them slightly larger to easily cover a standard 6inch can hole.

It will cover larger holes up to 6”
This cover has saved me from replacing some really expensive wood ceiling tiles after I mess up when making too large of hole to access wires.
