So far it seems fine, I guess in time it will need washing and will have to see if the shape and texture remain intact...but so far...so good

This hat may not win a beauty contest but it's the one I grab, without fail, in very cold weather.The inside lining is very soft and warm, and the flaps are large enough to generously cover my ears and a little bit of my cheek. The absolute best part is that it doesn't put any pressure on where my glasses meet my ears, like a lot of stocking caps do - if you wear glasses/sunglasses and have ever had sore spots on your ears after a couple hours wearing a stocking cap, you know what I mean. That doesn't happen with this hat - it's an all-dayer.My hat size is 7 1/4 and the hat is loose on me, but it doesn't slide around on my head and even in strong wind I've never had a problem keeping it on. Despite its relative looseness, it still keeps the wind out.I'm ordering two more - one as a backup, and one because my husband wants his own. It may look a little dorky but this hat is awesome.

Purchased for my wife who has found the "one size" slightly too big, but otherwise warm and comfortable.

The only minor thing is the stitching is not exactly centered but it's not noticeable. Otherwise, it fits me the best our of a couple of such hats I have tried, it's extremely warm, and material seems nice quality. Looks pretty stylish.
