The finish on the parts themselves isn't bad quality, but their design is not accurate to the original TH8A shifter shaft. Most notably, the tapered part which you're supposed to install the original black plastic sleeve on is both shorter in length and smaller in diameter than the original. So if you simply try to fit the original sleeve on the new shaft and tighten it onto the shifter base, it will get slightly offset and sandwiched in place before you're able to fully tighten the shaft. If you try to force it from here you'll most likely damage the sleeve.To correct this, you need to either cut the original sleeve to be shorter (it will still be a little loose on the inside) or make a new one via 3D printing. I was able to 3D print a new one in just the right size, so it didn't cause too much trouble for me personally but if you don't have access to a printer you're going to be faced with this issue.For those looking to 3D print your own sleeve, go to Thingiverse and search for "Thrustmaster TH8A Gear Lever Protector". Load the file called "lrg.stl" and resize the cylinder so that it's 21mm tall with an internal diameter of about 9mm. This was pretty much perfect in my testing.
