🚪 Safety Meets Simplicity: Elevate Your Garage Game!
The CreaCity Garage Door Sensor Beam Eyes are designed for compatibility with all Chamberlain, Craftsman, and LiftMaster garage door openers manufactured after 1997. These safety sensors project an invisible beam to prevent accidents, automatically reversing the door when obstructions are detected. The self-programming feature allows for easy installation, while glare filtering technology ensures reliable performance in various lighting conditions.

Works with brown button craftsman ke227/315mhz
I have a “brown” learn button craftsman door opener from 2009. Old keypad is model KE227 & 315mhz. I took a gamble this would work. None of these generic replacement keypads mentioned the “brown” learn button color.I used the 03 two digit “opener sort” code & that worked for this craftsman unit. For $19 I wanted to try it. The oem craftsman are $45.Only 4 stars. Dislike the loud beeps for button pushing. Sure it’s nice to get confirmation u depressed the buttons, it would be nice if u could turn this feature on/off. I Question the longevity of the sliding cover. Wish you could stop door midway with 1 button press like the oem. Sometimes you forget something as the door is closing & it’s nice to be able to stop door midway Vs wait until it totally closes & re-open.

easy to install, good value for the price.
The media could not be loaded. the garage door opener was super easy to connect to my door opener. i did end up having to use the second channel, as the first one didn’t play nicely, but once it was programmed it worked perfectly. i love that it is battery operated, as we did not want to have to run any wiring to use the keypad.i have two small pieces of feedback:1. it would be nice if there were a button to stop the door. when entering the code, the door opens and you can’t stop the door halfway without entering the code back in again. it would be nice if the code stuck for 30 seconds so that if you pressed # again, it would stop the door, or close the door again without needing to re-enter the code2. it would be amazing if there were a way to silence the button beeps.despite those two pieces of feedback, you can’t beat the functionality for the price of the keypad. would recommend!

it works
As everyone else has commented the light and lock switches do not work. The LED light is super bright, almost annoying. But it makes the door go up and down.

Problem Solved
Any time the sun was shinning bright the garage doors wouldn't close due to the sensors being washed out and triggered. I tried many tricks to shade the sensors but nothing really helped 100% as the sun moves thru out the day. As I later discovered, depending on environmental conditions like heat and cold, the laser power in these devices can permanently diminish. Replacing my old sensors with these new cheapy sensors immediately fixed the issue. Only time will tell how long they'll last.

Dipswitch settings are not clear for 3 position switches
Another reviewer had trouble with a Sears Craftsman opener that used the 3 position dip switches. They found that they had to use just the + and the 0 positions and could not use the - position. On my Sears opener I found that I could only use the + and the -, and NOT the 0 positions. I also had to use sort ID code 10 for the 1990-1992 Chamberlain even though my Sears was purchased in 1988 and the Chamberlain model for that would be the 1983-1989 model and use sort ID 11. Somewhat confusing!

Perfect replacement
On one of my original sensors the wire got pinched and would only work if you moved it a certain way. Got tired of messing with it so I gave these a shot since the ones at the local hardware stores are easily $40-$50. Swapped both sensors out and viola…problem solved and good as new. Great find.

The sensors aren't *supposed* to fail...
These photosensors were a perfect replacement for the Liftmaster OEM sensors. The wires are only about 6 inches, but the splicers were effective. The OEM photosensors should last more than 20 years in a dry location, but mine didn't.

It works.
I have a Lynx 455 garage door opener. It works for it. The two photo eyes has no left-right difference. But they do have polarity for the power supply. They have positive and negative . At the First time, I didn't connect correctly and the light on the photo eye was not lid. After I swithed the two wires, it works well.
