Out of the box, there is little to no guidance on setup, calibration, or basic operation. If you’re not already familiar with XY plotters, G-code–style workflows, or similar machines, you’re essentially left guessing. I spent a significant amount of time trying to figure it out and ultimately had to return the product. There are some great reviews and YouTube videos online, but it’s very clear those users either: Had prior experience with this type of machine, or Received coaching or guidance that isn’t included with the product For a consumer-facing device, that’s a problem. A product like this should not require deep prior knowledge just to get started.
