Drops Out When Playing Live
Update 1/16/2017: Nady actually reached out to me after my original review and offered to help me with the issues I was experiencing. I appreciated that and decided to film this weekends gig for them - showing them my issues. Unfortunately, we arrived at the venue a bit later than planned (snowy weather had us getting out of town much later than preferred) so we never set our cameras up. However, I did as suggested and tried changing channels and had a much better night. I did experience 2 drops in my 4 hour gig... while standing on stage right by the unit. They were both about a half-second long, which doesn't sound like much but both times, I remember being thankful I wasn't mid-solo. I'm not sure if the different channel really did anything (can't really imagine it did since I did ensure full bars on my channel/signal meters every time out) or there was less interference at this particular venue. I can attest to only being able to walk about 40-50 feet away from the stage before it cuts out though (line of sight with nothing in between). I reproduced that 3 or 4 X during the evening. That bugs me a bit still. But.... all that said, I felt much better about this night. I'm going to try it again at our next gig, which is at a casino. Not sure if they'll allow video taping there, but if so, I plan to tape the entire night and post my results - including a test of how far I can walk out. Between the latest experience and Nady offering to help me out, I'm currently raising my rating from 2 to 4 stars. As I've mentioned before, active pickups can cause a lot of problems for a lot of wireless systems and this may be causing all my issues. Hard to say for certain right now but I'll keep updating as I use this. I do know that I LOVE being free while playing and I did enjoy this latest evening a lot.----------------------------------------------------------------------------BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL FEEDBACK ON THIS DEVICE:----------------------------------------------------------------------------I got this for the advanced features but unfortunately, I get drops when playing it on stage.. little 1 second drops, 5-10x a night, and I don't typically leave the spot I'm playing so it's not like I'm out of range. I do use active pickups and some wireless systems have trouble with active pickups. I thought this one would do better because it did not have a warning, but clearly, it's a problem. I tried it a second night with my fully recharged EBL batteries (instead of walmart bought) and nope.. same problem. It just drops out while playing for no reason. The other really frustrating thing? They included a guitar cable and it looks like one of those cheap cords that come with a $20 walmart guitar but I thought, "this is too expensive of a unit so I have to believe the cable is of better quality than it looks". Night 1 of my first gig playing with it and it went out in the first hour! Grr... ruined that song. I would have much preferred they not include a cable rather than giving one that won't even last the night. What I did love was the case. Very nice looking and small, so a nice way to store the unit. But.. Overall, really disappointed. Definitely not worth the price tag.I'll try and use this again in an upcoming gig so I can post some video, as we usually run a camcorder for the whole night.

Ok but not great.
This unit is ok, but I would recommend looking elsewhere. The electronics are not the best. I have two high end bass guitars that are ultra-quiet 18 volt guitars. One is a custom Michael Tobias and the other is an Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray. When I play through a cable there is no hiss. When I play through this unit, there is noticeable hiss on both guitars. Changing channels doesn't matter, the circuitry is just not quiet enough. I use it to practice at home without having to plug in all the time, but I would never use this at a gig. You can find better, quieter systems out there.

It works with LR Baggs Lyric and Anthem!
Ok, I have been looking for a long while for a "guitar bug" styled transmitter for my acoustic guitar, and I am loving this Nady unit for this reason. Even better still is that both transmitter and receiver works on AA batteries! (Running on batteries are a God-send when you don't have a power plug near your setup on stage!)And also since nobody has commented affirmatively if this unit will work with Acoustic active pickups, I decided to take the leap and try it for myself. The good news is that this works flawlessly with both of my LR baggs pickups: The Lyric and the Anthem. (Both installed in 2018)The simple battery meter on the receiver is wonderful: U3 (full batt), U2 (2/3 batt remaining), U1 (1/3 batt remaining), and flashing U1 means you need to replace the batteries immediately. There's no batt indicator on the transmitter, in case you're wondering, but the power LED will flash when it's low on battery. The MUTE switch is noiseless when you switch between MUTE and NO MUTE (thank God!), but the power switch on the transmitter will emit a very very unnoticeable pop when turning off and on (but this is at very low levels, most people won't notice it)The 100 channel is lovely, which allows me to prevent signal interferences. That's about the most important aspects of this unit that I myself have been wondering about before I got this unit! Hope it will help more acoustic guitarists out there!

Great system
I purchased this Nady wireless system after my Samson system broke, and after I returned a CloudWire digital wireless system that kept dropping out. Now, I'm not too technical a guy, but I know what works and what doesn't, and this Nady worked beautifully. This Nady, like the Samson I had, has what I call the 'cockroach-looking' transmitter you plug into your guitar, and the compact receiver, which is a little smaller than the Samson but has more capability.Bottom line is, I'm a very mobile and energetic performer, and wireless systems get tested really nicely with me. This Nady didn't drop out once, had great sound, and gave no problems at all. The transmitter and receiver are easy to sync up (just takes a few seconds), and there ya go.One thing I especially like about this system is that the receiver runs on batteries, in addition to using an adapter to plug in. This helps greatly if you don't feel like fiddling with finding an outlet to plug into. Of course, it's always a good idea to take the adapter just in case your batteries run out, but that's something you should make sure you're on top of anyway. One answer said the batteries will run 8-10 hours, which I haven't reached yet, but will replace way before to be safe.On top of all that, this Nady comes in a decent metal case, and costs almost a hundred dollars less than the Samson I used, and this Nady is superior in every way in my opinion.Bottom line, I love this system, it's worth every penny and I hope to get a lot of use from it.

Great Product!
This is a great product. I gave it 4 stars because at least one time per use, I get a loud popping sound. I get the popping Sounds even when the transmitter is on mute. Changing frequency helps to reduce the number of times the pop sound occurs. The popping sound is very loud and completely unacceptable during performances. I may have a faulty unit because none of the other reviews mention the same problem.
