Top quality manufacturers!
I’m 69 years old and have been using Air lift products since the late 1970’s. I have purchased hundreds of their suspension kits during my 30 years in the construction and mining industry. The variety of applications were to improve the stability and performance and most importantly, the safety of our vehicles and equipment! Our on highway vehicle’s, used suspension kits designed specifically for them. However, our off-highway equipment often times. were modified as necessary. it takes ingenuity and the ability to create and design, kind of like MacGyver!!Now, on to this kit. My application: 2014 Ford E350 extended body van. The install went very well! Yes, it took a little thinking on my part and creativeness. For the most part, my van is not carrying heavy weight items. I do, on occasion, tow my 25 foot travel, trailer, or my small equipment trailer with a backhoe. Or carry my CRF 250 dual sport motorcycle on a carrier on the back. After three weeks of driving with this air lift suspension kit, I removed the system yesterday from my van.Inside the airbag, is what they call a jounce bumper. It is a rather tall cone shaped solid, rubber bumper. At normal ride height, with 5 to 10 psi. The ride was rather stiff. And I realized the Jounce bumper kept bottoming out and causing a constant jarring motion, pretty well eliminating the spring action of my stock suspension! Hard on an old guys back, as you might imagine.I will be contacting airlift directly to share this with them and see what guidance they can provide!Once again, however, airlift products in my opinion, are top quality, and I highly recommend them!

Working very well. 100% improvement in handling.
Installed this kit on a 1990 TravelMaster Signature 27 foot Class-C motor home. The chassis is a Ford Econoline E-350 Custom Cab. Dulley's on the rear. This rig swayed and rolled badly. The factory 8 leaf springs were still okay but at their limit with the weight of the coach. It took me about 3 to 4 hours taking my time. The brake line support for the driver's side part did not match. The factory had the axle vent and brake line integrated into one piece. I have to fabricate my own bracket for the brake line since needed the axle vent to stay in place. Other than that it was all good. Took me about 3 1/2 hours as I did it all myself, and I did not hurry. I like to double check everything. It was a little tight getting the heat shield properly in place between the bag and exhaust pipe, but that was more due to my 60 year old hands are not a dexterous as they once were. The motor home rides like a coach rather than a U-Haul truck. Handles so much better, and the wife no longer gets car sick when sitting the back with her fury baby. The air bags lift the rear up about 2 1/4 inches when fully inflated at 98 psi. I like to ride with about 75 psi as I don't tow anything. Very firm and comfy ride. When semi-trucks blow by the rig does not feel like the big bad wolf is trying to blow me off the road. No more bone jarring jolts from the road. It was worth the effort and I highly recommend this kit to stop the rear roll and sway. Former industrial maintenance electrican/mechcanic & USMC M35A2 driver.

Not a 1-2 hour install
This is not the 1-2 hour installation as indicated in the product literature. This was installed on my motor home with dual rear wheels. After the vehicle was jacked supported and wheels remove (a hour by itself) it took a good 4 hours to properly install. In all the product pictures a buyer is led to believe this is a double height bellow but it is actually not. It is a single bellow about 5" in height. I would have expected a bit more travel than that considering there is an internal jaunce that prevents internal bottoming out. The airbags returned the sagging old springs to the original ride height and added additional capacity for trailer towing. If your looking for some extra lift, look elsewhere. This kit will restore the original ride height but your not going to get even a bit of extra lift!To make my install worse, one of the factory presses in brass air fittings leaks so I had to get a replacement air bag sent out and spend another 4 hours replacing it.Overall the product adds load capacity and restores original ride height. The installation requires moderate mechanical skills and much more time than indicated. The picture on the box and literature is deceptive as it is not what you get.

RV Install easiest so far
3rd set of Air Lifts I've installed. The 5k system is a bit smaller, bag wise. Raised it up to 60 psi, 3" of extra clearance. On late models, this was 2002 F350 the holes on frame aligned perfectly with top plate on outside of frame. You will need a heavy duty floor jack or bottle jacks. Jack stands for safety. This vehicle had duel tires on back. Easily installed with out removing. Took about 3 hours by myself, It helps to squeeze bags while setting into place, tricky moving it around exhaust system. Worth the time and effort to install.

I have a 2003 Ford E 350 Mini Winnie RV. The rear springs sagged and had excessive roll in turns,
The air bags by Air Lift support up to 5000 lbs and were ideal for this situation. The internal jounce bumper inside the bags in a great feature and absorbs shock. I air them up individually, this controls sway. I only gave them 4 stars only because I haven't had them on long enough to test durability. The only dislike is the bags come with only one U clamp on each side. I would feel better if it had two. However the bracket does wedge itself into shackles on each side. If you have a heavy vehicle this is a great solution. I also called the company. They also have good costumer service.I also bought the 72000 wireless on board Air Lift air-compressor, which I highly recommend. No trying to find a gas station with air that works. Easy to check pressures and raise of lower as needed. I give this product a 5 star. The only this like is the awkward remote. I did have some issue shortly after install and costumer service was very helpful and my issue was easily resolved.Update: several years later, everything still working good. It turns out to be a great investment. upgrade to 5 stars.
