Panasonic Expandable Cordless Phone System, Bluetooth Pairing for Wireless Headphones and Hearing Aids, Smart Call Block, Bilingual Talking Caller ID, 2 Handsets - KX-TGD892S (Silver)

Phone pairs and connects to my (Costco) Kirkland KS-10 hearing aids (made by Sonova - clone of Phonak Audeo Paradise P90). I hear callers well - phone volume control works well for me - callers report I sound like I'm in a large room, or like I'm on speaker phone, since my hearing aids also act as my microphone and send my voice back through the phone. There is a quirk - pairing is lost if I turn the hearing aids off (charger overnight), or if I leave the house. I've gotten used to re-pairing when I take the aids out of the charger in the morning, or when I return home. Sometimes when I return to the room where the phone is, from elsewhere in the house, I have to click connect to reactivate the pairing but usually don't have to power off the aids and re-pair. Other than the quirk, this phone works for me. Update: the described quirk is because my hearing aids can only maintain 2 connections at a time. Repairing is not necessary, but I do have to reconnect after the hearing aids are restarted, and sometimes have to disconnect some other device and click reconnect on this phone to re-establish the connection. Now that I understand the limitation of my hearing aids, I love this phone. Upgrading to 5 stars.

An excellent phone system with good capabilities. The bluetooth functionality is good,but comes across on the quiet side for my hearing aids. Otherwise this is a great setup.

Does not show base lite when in cradle. Not so easy to set up.

We tried out this model on a new line we got. The other Panasonic models we have has a bluetooth link that allows you to link your cell to the phones. This allows you to use the Panasonic handsets to also take cell calls. This model allows you to link bluetooth handsets to your Panasonic phone system. On the other Panasonic models we have some has a mini audio jack for a corded handset, which I've always found useful for "long" calls without having to have the phone to your ear or on speaker phone. Linking a bluetooth handset works well with my Apple Airpod. It's easy to connect your paired headset with a touch of a button and selecting the handset. Audio quality and shared phone books among handets is good as usual.

I’ve had Panasonic cordless phones since they were invented, this model lacks in comparison!! I usually always talk via speaker, and it lacks big time compared to my old one, it was so noticeable. Unfortunately, I missed the return window.

Best purchase ever, sound quality is excellent very functional, easy to setup, Bluetooth compatibility so easy to connect . Durability is perfect.

I had an older 3-phone Panasonic cordless phone set for years. The LED display on each of them eventually stopped working, so although I could use the phone for its basic function (making and receiving phone calls), all other functions were out of reach. This new Panasonic model falls short in several ways. The most annoying aspect is if you put the phone face down on a flat surface, phone buttons are pushed, lighting up the display, and risking doing unwanted things, such as dialing, deleting things, etc. The buttons on the older model were recessed within a slight concave shape, and placing the phone down did not push buttons. Also, I don't see any way to delete individual messages; it seems that you can either keep them all or CLEAR THEM ALL! This is idiotic! Also, the phone base in the new model has less functionality than the old model. This model has been a great disappointment and I am at a complete loss how the engineers and product managers at Panasonic could have allowed this product out their door. They went backwards with this model from a very good older product. Absolutely avoid this model and check out other models from this manufacturer or from other brands.

I've owned a couple other cordless Panasonic phones and they are the best, feature and quality wise, but the headphone jack always ended up intermittent and static after years of use. Bluetooth fixes all that, and I don't have a cord to drag around!
