I Hoped for Wonderful but Instead Wondered Why
I usually have a pretty good intuition about if I’m going to like a movie or not so I didn’t bother seeing this in the theater. After tons of hype for this I bought it for $3 during Black Friday and didn’t get around to watching until now. 20 minutes in I was ready to shut it off. The acting is ok to bad as are the computer graphics. Continuing past that, it’s just not that interesting. It tries to be exciting, gripping, funny, and charming but it isn’t. It just falls flat. The main actors do an ok job but the script isn’t very good. Even good actors can look bad with a weak story and uninspired direction. I like most of the superhero films and the best ones treat the movie realistically and seriously and only add superhero elements. The worst just try too hard to entertain. This one tries too hard. I made it an hour in and then shut it off. That’s more than enough time to grab and impress but it didn’t.I’ve seen a disturbing trend of movie review sites overhyping movies to get more people to buy a ticket and I’m guessing the same happened here. I didn’t see anything in an hour that was worth half of what I heard. This will pass the time for most but won’t leave much to remember or care about. Pass if you require more from a film than graphics and desperate attempts to impress you.*Personal Note* I have no problem with strong females but Hollywood proves time and time again that they don’t know what a strong woman is. Usually they just have the woman act like a man and beat up a bunch of men to show how strong they are. They never beat up other women, always men and they’re usually emotionless and unrealistically overpowered. They also bring down men at the same time by making them weak and foolish. Women can still be soft, emotional, feminine and strong. WW wasn’t as bad as I feared and Diana was more balanced than usual but there were times when they just couldn’t help themselves. Men are strong, virtuous and courageous too and don’t need to be torn down just to lift women up. Many men have sacrificed their lives for God, family and country and that should never be minimized. Both men and women can show their good and bad sides as well as their strengths and weaknesses. Not everything has to be politicized or made to satisfy activist groups. Just let the natural differences of both be seen at their best and worst. Just be real.

Powerful, Amazing & Outstanding Movie For ALL!
I have been a Wonder Woman fangirl since I was 4 years old... I am now 45. I never thought anyone could replace Linda Carter as Wonder Woman in my heart and life. Then I saw this movie... WOW!My 78 year old Father (who introduced me to Wonder Woman at such a young and impressionable age... thank you, dad ♡) and I saw this movie together for the first time and many times in the theater again and again. Both of us were SO beyond happy with this film! Gal Gadot stole both of our hearts and admiration! She is beyond talented and daaamn she kicks major boo-tay as Wonder Woman! ;)THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING FOR EVERYONE! Young and old, female and male. The storyline, character creation, acting and directing is outstanding! OUTSTANDING!!! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆And while I will always love, admire and thank Linda Carter for being my Wonder Woman growing up... Gal Gadot was so FANTASTIC, I loved her and this movie! I love that a whole new generation of girls and boys have been given this gift of a powerful, courageous, graceful, amazing and yes, sexy new Wonder Woman! I am beyond thrilled I get to feel like a kid again and as an adult woman, celebrate this ground breaking character all over again! Thank you DC Comics, Warner Bros., Creator - William Moulton Marston, Director - Patty Jenkins, all the AMAZING Actresses and Actors. Especially Chris Pine and the real woman herself, Gal Gadot! ♡

As a result I spent many years studying the war in great detail. I mention all this to show that ...
This is a magnificent movie, well deserving all the praise heaped upon it. I am 65 years old, growing up with WWII veterans--soldiers, sailors and marines--all of them strong men in their prime, simple, humble and all of them joining the colors in 1941; men who saw horrors beyond belief ( I managed to steal a peek at the photos my dad brought home from the Pacific islands in the aftermath of a Japanese defeat--burned and mutilated corpses everywhere). As a result I spent many years studying the war in great detail. I mention all this to show that I grew up with a tremendous sense history and hope that I have some modicum of wisdom and gravitas after all these years. Along with this I became a 1st generation Trekkie in 1966, read Tolkien before it became a vast commercial success with games, comic books, and movies etc. I have always possessed a sense of wonder and fantasy. After this tedious autobiography,I approached this movie this movie with curiosity and skepticism ( I never watched Wonder Woman on TV nor was I interested in the character. Taking a chance without being drunk, I purchased the film and just finishing watching it. I was stunned, appreciated the well crafted story, and enjoyed the sound track. This was not what I expected, though being a big fan of Xena, I should have been prepared. This was a serious film without any goof ball humor, with a great deal of action and exciting battle scenes that make you feel good. Please rent or buy this movie right away!!

Knock Spidey for six
Great movie good story good action and stays at its certification which will entertain adults a million times better than homecoming.Story basically starts with wonder woman on her island and affter a plane crashes through the shield we enter into Wonder woman up against Gaermans and biochemists and a devil type character all brilliantly played/Love it.

I watched it again and again. That’s how good it is. She’s a proper version of WW!
Contrary to some reviews who say it’s a Feminist Woke movie, it’s not. If anything WW is pro-men or more accurately pro-mankind. The villain had to be a Brit and a man too; but her love interest is an American – go figure. Brill, brill and brill! The final battle is just awesome and the mythological backbone (based on Greek Mythology) is philosophically stimulating. I’m in love. Worth buying in Blu-ray.

Easily one if the best superhero
Easily one if the best superhero, or heroine, movies, and easily the best DC by a country mile. Absolutely Brilliant.

Five Stars
Gal Gadot is a good wonder woman and the film had more exposition than action to my surprise.
