There are cheaper options but as they saying goes buy once, cry once. These things are sturdy and mount solidly in the truck. They fully cover the stake hole cutouts in my rail protectors (see pictures). Had no problems with the install. Did have to make a field adjustment to the inner fender sheet metal in the rear stake holes to accommodate the bracket but that speaks more to GM's manufacturing tolerances than it does to this product.Do wish they offered a pack of six instead of just two or four for us long bed owners.Even with the field adjustment, install of all four took no more than 15 minutes including unboxing.Been installed for about 6 months now and holding up well. As the photos show, no rust or corrosion on the exposed metal parts and no fading of the beauty plate. This suggests high quality materials used in production. Also, as far as I can discern no rattles when driving with them in the closed position. Takes some finger strength to snap them up into position for use but nothing outrageous. My wife can do it. I do like that they are not in the up position all the time - only when being used.Had a bad experience once with a load shifting so I am always wary and cautious with tie downs. These are a quality product that I would purchase again. They will make your truck much more useable for the investment of very little money.

I am a manly man with a manly truck and I don’t need to read instructions to do anything. I received the Bull Ring 4001-XT to install on my 2007 F150 and was anxious to get them on. I spent over ten minutes adjusting the screws trying to get the first one installed. I was fearful of loosening the screws too far and dropping the bottom piece down the stake hole. Needless to say I could never get the top and bottom wide enough to tip it into the hole. I then realized that even with both screws out there was no way to accidentally separate the top from the bottom and loose pieces due to the retaining bar. With both screws out the unit tilted in easily and the retaining screws were easy to install. Within two minutes the unit was installed and in less than five minutes the remaining three were in place. Lesson learned, at least look at the instructions. Oh yeah, the first drawing in the instruction show the screws completely removed to allow tipping the unit into the holes. Bottom line, they are easy to install (following the instructions), fit great and look really, really good.

Added these to my 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz. They fit perfectly. Are really sturdy. And, provide a great additional point to secure loads. Highly recommend them!

These are well made, fit near perfect and look great while giving me something to tie loads down when the bed of my truck is full. Ford only gave us four tie downs back in 2007 they work great unless the bed of your truck is full, then they are a pain in the butt to get to. These take care of that problem with class and the price for four was not bad at all.There is only one negative that I can think of; the screws are not tamper proof screws and somebody could steal them given enough time. This is not much of a concern for me because I park in my garage. I put one in with the BullRing lettering facing opposite of the next one I put in so, being the perfection driven person that I am, I took it back out and turned it around. That wasn't real easy as they are harder to get out than put in. Had they come with tamper proff screws I would give them 5 stars hands down!

I'm very pleased with these tie downs. They seem plenty sturdy and easy to use. Installation on my 5th gen Ram 1500 wasn't too difficult - because I watched some videos so I knew I would have to cut away some of the bed rail cap. I cut away just enough to fit them in and make them work.If you're unclear about which model you need, just contact Bull Ring customer service, who provide great support. For example, my truck needed the 4100 for the rear pair, and 5070 for the front.I've experienced enough of the inconvenience of reaching below awkward or scratchy loads to secure to the lower tie down loops that I will really appreciate having these to use instead.

Fits 2023 Hyundai Sant Cruz. Best way to remove access cover is with a razor blade. You will need to take your time making the cuts. Looks good and works perfectly.

Easy to install , just what I needed

They look good. Work well. The only extra work I personally had to do was make a spacer to go in between the box itself and the bedside molding on top. That way when it's tightened together it's not squishing the molding to the bedside and making the molding look awkward with a dip.
