I ordered these as an impulse Buy. I have a small shop and do Automotive fabrication. Most of my drill work is done from a press or a mill. In those cases I use centering start bits and step drill to the size required. However I was finding it cumbersome to use that same selection of step bits when working through chassis or body assembly. I've only used these bits a couple times but found them very adequate when using a hand drill and accurately starting holes from a center punch. So far I've only used the smaller size bits, saving myself the time and trouble of Step Drilling. These bits are far more then the I'm a little suspect of the larger diameter bits but to this point they have served their purpose very well.

Incredible!
Alright first off I haven't used them long term..but o my gosh they cut butter smooth. Beware- once you use these it'll be hard to go back to something else

Best bits I have ever used.
I know these are not the top name in this style of bits but these are half the price also and by far are the best bits I have ever used. I have drilled sheet metal and through 1/2" mild steel without a pilot holes in multiple bit sizes. Yes, no pilot hole using the 1/2" bit through 1/2" steel and no walkout on the hole.

Great bits!
so far used them a few times to drill out some studs and lug nuts that were free spinning and these with the oil made quick work of them!

Game changer.
Drilled through a lugnut into wheel stud in about 5 minutes to free lug nut from the free spinning wheel stud. Incredible!!

Cuts like butter
I got the matco brand of these drill bits when it was a matco exclusive. Got the expended larger set at that that time, drilling through frame rails, I was tearing up bits and it took time. These run through them like butter. Make your mark and use the size you want it to end up at, never a problem. Got these to take to the service truck and they're the exact same.
