I was very sceptical to try it. My lips have been dry and flaky my whole life, and the older lip stains in the past from other brands which are drippy and watery tend to just clump in the dry parts of my lips, creating a very uneven tone. Lipsticks never worked very well either - they all eventually dry and cake up on my lips unevenly. Finally, a product that gives me an even and natural lip colour enhancement without gathering in the dry parts of my lips. I bought it in Charming as I am light-medium skin tone, and a Winter colour analysis season, and I need something with a bit more colour on my lips and in a red or berry shade to look my best. This is it - Charming is indeed, an accurate medium berry shade lip colour. My natural lip colour is very pale pink, almost whitish. This however, gives my lips a rosy, berry coloured tint. It looks like I put lipstick on. Because my lips are always dry, they need lip balm applied every few hours on to keep them moist. It used to be that applying lip balm with whatever lip colour product I use would cause the lip colour to smear or fade. That meant constant reapplication, which is tiresome. I'm low maintenance. This product is the holy grail! Now I can use lip balm on top of it to keep my lips moisturised, while not having to reapply lip colour constantly. I'm sold! I've bought Adore, XOXO, and Glamorous as well. Adore is like a peachy rose, very natural peachy tint. XOXO is more of a natural rosey shade, so as you can see in my pictures, Adore has more of a peachy, golden tint compared to XOXO. Adore and XOXO are what Wonderskin calls "fresh tints" (there are 3 fresh tint shades) they don't offer as much coverage as the other Wonderskin colours. I have two toned lips and the darker edges of my lips are still visible after applying the fresh tint shades. It looks really natural, like I put a tinted lip balm on, but the bonus is it stays all day even when I put my lip balm on, and I don't have to reapply. I don't recommend using fresh tints if you're wanting a more opaque colour coverage. Glamorous is an accurate, classic red, suitable for all skin tones.After applying this product, my lips felt tingly and a bit numb. Very easy to remove product with a wet tissue. I did not scrub my lips at all prior to application, I just put some Aquaphor to moisturise, and colour result was fine, not at all patchy. Whenever lips are moistened (by licking, or in this case, by using a wet tissue to remove the product) and then wiped dry, they inevitably get a bit dry. This is normal for my lips, and the lip stain is not to blame for this. I simply put on some Aquaphor afterwards and my lips are good to go. Lasts for a good few hours.Micellar water removes a large amount of the stain, so I use it to remove any leftover stains at night before bed, or if the stain is too much, I dampen it by wiping with tissue soaked with micellar water.

I watched a few reviews online about this stain, but none of them mentioned about a tingling sensation upon applying this product. It also has a strong powdery-like smell. It leaves my lips a bit dry so I suggest to use a balm or gloss after. Otherwise, it serves its purpose as a lip stain. The colour is lovely, but does not really last all day.

This lip stain is honestly one of the best lip products I’ve ever used. The colours are gorgeous and it really lasts I can go all day without needing to touch it up. I actually love using it as a lip liner too, it gives that extra definition and looks so good with gloss.I’ve found it’s better not to use the activator spray that comes with it. Instead, I just wipe the stain off with a damp cotton pad after it sets, and it works perfectly. The result is even, vibrant, and super natural-looking. Plus, it doesn’t dry out my lips or feel heavy. I’ve bought more from their website too.

Lovely colour, but it was almost entirely gone after my lunchtime (I applied it first around 10am, and had only eaten lunch and drank a cup of tea). It also didn't disappear evenly, it was speckled across my lips making it look like they were really sore. Whilst it's a lovely colour, it's DEFINITELY not worth £18.

Best lipstain everDries quick you don’t have to peal it off just a damp cloth or cotton and you have a nice colour that lasts the whole day.I personally use some clear lip oil on top ofIt which intensifies the colour a bit more.

I was looking forward to try this lip stain that had an overload sensation all over Tiktok. Unfortunately, this product didn’t meet my expectations. Multiple times, I have worn this lip stain, followed the instructions (sometimes left it longer), and it would disappear pretty quickly after a couple 1-2 hours of being out.Also, it is a bit iffy, in the sense that it looks more pigmented in the inner parts of my lips than the rest (even after applying the product evenly).This product also significantly dries out your lips so much, even vaseline on it cannot do me justice.It is 100% not worth the money or hype, and I am disappointed (but not surprised), at the representation this has on TikTok. It would be best if ‘influencers’ actually be honest, and not fake positive review products just for their benefit…

So in love with this shade. Beautiful Bella. This is a dusky pinky mauvy shade. Not purple at all. I have worked out how to apply these lip stains. With this I added two thin layers. A thin layer is applied with the top tip of the applicator. Let one layer dry and wipe off with a damp cloth. Then apply a second thin layer to perfect. For a more vibrant going out-out look, apply a thick layer with the side of the applicator (a bit like a spatula). The colour is then vibrant and rich. For an everyday look apply thinly. I scrubbed lips with the Wonderskin lip scrub beforehand and added the Wonderskin “clear” top gloss after applying the stain.

(Bella) For any sister who wants to know how this shade looks irl. Nice colour. I believe this is two layers deep. My lips felt dry after applying, so I applied a little lip balm, though I prefer the matte look.The lip stain does go on beautifully, but it's not as long-lasting as they like to promise. And it can be a little awkward to re-apply in a public toilet since you need to let it cure and, in my case, wipe it off, because the peeling never works for me, even after using the activator. I wore it to go out for drinks, and it was rubbing off within 2 hours, before I'd even eaten anything. I reapplied once (sans activator), and it was rubbing off again a couple hours later. Does leave lips dry (even with the lip balm), which I think makes it rub off faster.
