Beets Gourmet Blend Certified Organic Heirloom Seeds 100 Seeds

First off, I don't have a green thumb... however this is the first time in my 30 years of gardening that I couldn't get to even sprout

I was happy to find beet seeds for a reasonable cost. The germinated nicely and are growing well. I have eaten some of the greens in a salad, yum and so healthy. My mom simmered some in a pan with seasoning and loved it. Now we are waiting for the beets!

Make sure you don't purchase these from BGS supplies. They did not ship us a Botanical Interests seed packet as this product advertised. We buy all our seeds from Botanical Interests, and you get a physical paper packet loaded with high quality seeds, just as shown in the product picture, and in the case of this item specifically, 3 beet varieties. What they gave us was a dinky little plastic pouch with a few seeds in it labeled to have 2 varieties, clearly not the seeds advertised, and doubtful even from botanical interests unless they are taking all the seeds out of there packets and splitting them into smaller pouches (probably about 1/4 or less of the seeds of an actual Botanical Interests seed packet).By the way, this review is solely based on our order through BGS Supplies, and nothing to do with real seeds from Botanical Interests, which are top notch. In fact, this was supposed to be our now 3rd or 4th packet of these beets specifically, and they are all wonderful, high producing, and delicious. So just take note, do purchase Botanical Interests, but don't purchase from BGS supplies or you will get scammed. Only reason we didn't order from Botanical directly was because the shipping was cheaper for a sole packet from this seller, didn't expect to get what we got though. Hoping no one else on here is getting dinky little bags of seeds too and just not knowing that those aren't actually legitimate.

These were garbage, none grew right all were shriveled up and scrawny tried them in hot sunny Northern Calif. outdoors on farm, tried em in pots in the Mt.s Of Calif..not as hot...Then in Oregon in moderate climate, not a one grew right, gave great greens, Im still picking greens from the last 3 plants, but again no bulb to speak of the greens r wonderful tho very tasty in salads!!

Plants sprouted almost instantly and have been growing nicely. Looking forward to the crop.

None of the beets germinated....
