These candles are so pretty! I tried to stay away from "too pretty to use!" but I have to confess, these sat here for quite some time before I could bring myself to try one!First off, they look simply stunning in their little two-packs, all tied up and looking perfect for gift-giving. I hated to break into that. I finally did, and pulled out a candle holder that we have had forever. I think it was something we picked up on our honeymoon, nearly thirty years ago.The candle burned beautifully, and just smelled natural. I love a good scented candle, but so many that I've tried just smell so manufactured. I don't know the right word. This didn't have that!My daughter walked through the living room and commented on how pretty it was, and how nice that it is cool enough that we can burn a candle. That reminded me of the real reason I hadn't broken the seal on any of these candles yet -- burning candles when the house is 80 or 90 degrees just seems wrong, even if it doesn't really heat things up more.But now it is candle-burning season, and you should get some of these amazing, natural candles.

I was hoping the beeswax style of candle would grow on me but it hasn't. I still prefer traditional taper candles. These candles do not fit into standard candle holders (I tried three) and every single candle I've used I've had to whittle the base a bit with a knife so that it would fit into a candle holder. They are also not entirely dripless though the drip did not go down the entire candle to the candle holder. I would have preferred to have more than one pair of red candles in the set but you cannot choose the colors sent - they are set, though they do match the picture in the description. Do NOT cut down the wick before lighting for the first time. I thought it might be a little too long but then I had a hard time getting the candle to light. Overall, these candles are just OK and I likely would not purchase another set.

I bought this set of beewax candles for my altar. The are about half an inch thick and because they are hand-rolled, the bottom of them may make them not standup straight unless your holders are nice and snug around them. I'm using them in a pair of salt crystal candle holders and they are a bit too thin for them.They burn cleanly and do not drip as advertise. They smell of honey which is expected and wonderful. The colors are nice and bright as you can see. I recommend.

These are exactly what a beeswax candle should be. Simple, elegant, and with that amazing smell that you only get from beeswax. I like the range of colors in this set, covers the entire year color wise - Valentine’s Day (red), 4th of July (blue / red / white), fall season (naturals / reds / whites), Christmas (reds/greens)…. It’s a really great color set!I also like how the candles are tied into little cute pairs, it would make for an easy way to separate these out for adding into gift baskets/bags. As is always the case, price can fluctuate quite a bit on Amazon - I can’t fairly speak to price, but as for quality - if you’re looking for a great set of high quality beeswax candles with a nice color assortment - these definitely fit the bill. Two thumbs up!

These came packed in a cardboard box lined with tissue paper so they are well protected. Lovely candles, burns very clean and the presentation and colors dress up any table. Great value

These are pure beeswax candles and you can tell because they burn real well. They give off more light than you'd expect, unless you're used to burning this type of candle, pure beeswax. Beeswax candles give off negative ions which actually clear air of mold spores, pollen, dander, odors, germs, dust and other nasty particles.The assortment of colors is nice. The diameter is about an inch. The honeycomb design is pleasing. They burn slowly and the wick is easy to relight.
