I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the "reconditioned" ThinkPad T480! It arrived with verylittle signs of use previously. Packed well during shipment and battery says it charges to 100%.Setup went smoothly as did the upgrade from Windows 10 Pro to 11 Pro. Keyboard is very nice.Everything that I have checked out has worked flawlessly. I paid around $350 for a machine thatprobably sold for $1500-$2000 when new. Everything as advertised. Happy--Happy--Happy!!!

Amazon rated this excellent condition but it hardly even works. Parts need replacing, battery doesn't even hold charge for an hour, constant blue screen of death occurrences. Maybe I misinterpreted what "excellent" is. Not sure. But it looks fine on the outside

Battery has 104 cycles so it doesn't want to boot Windows unless it's on A/C power. It has Windows 11 on it. Its a known issue that this thing hates a battery only startup with a ran down battery on the power bridge. Will probably need to install linux, which stinks because it isnt what I wanted to do on this rig. Also, when I opened the computer for the first time, they keyboard fell off.Computer specs seem to be legit and that is why I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1. Definitely overpaid for this.

This Thinkpad had reported reviews on both the Trackpoint and Touchpad having major problems in the T470. T480, T490, T14, P models and others(that I never thought I'd find in a Thinkpad or a refurb seller that didn't check it out before shipping it). And the problem fix that Lenovo gave was sticky in that it worked only temporarily. I never thought refurbished Thinkpads would be let go without checking something so basic. I've been buying refurbished Thinkpads for 15 or more years from IBM directly(former employee laptops) who made sure in almost all cases they didn't leave with problems. Since they stopped that program, its the Wild West with Sellers(regardless of the Amazon refund). Who wants to get a refurb with problems with such a traditionally solid unit as was the T model Thinkpads. I now sort my unit on Average PC/vendor scores, and then look at reviews closely and only select from the best with large numbers of reviews. Even with what traditionally was a solid Laptop manufacturer, I don't know if it's worth my time to get a refurb PC with what could be a bad seller that doesn't check them out adequately. I found another Laptop refurb company that looked legit and stable, but who knows. If this doesn't turn out I maybe just ready to go to the Office Depots for a new second or third tier new one with a warranty if this method is just too time consuming and painful.

I love this thing, a lot. Its such a great deal. I rely on this laptop over my macbook nowadays.

Not satisfied with the product

Computer looks good no cosmetic damage. Unfortunately I received a faulty battery and an incomplete charger. The internal and external (not working) batteries have been degraded about 40% overall (yikes) and the charger only brought the adapter and not the AC cable!
