Unlike another review said this is not for the Apple Pencil gen 1 though it does fit, it is a tight fit though and you gotta remember that the gen 2 Apple Pencil is kind of square shaped and is shorter than the gen 1 so to me this grip on the gen 1 is like when you have outgrown your pants and the bottom part that used to go all the way to the floor now only goes to just over the ankles so I am just saving this sleeve for when I get the 2nd gen pencil and a new iPad sometime in the future but I have to admit that I was hoping that it would fit my Apple gen 1 pencil since they took the gen 1 watermelon red color sleeve away when I finally decided to buy it so I got the 2nd gen watermelon red sleeve instead. It’s not too thick, the silicone is super comfortable to hold, it is a tight fit on the gen 1 but for the gen 2 I think it would be perfect, the clip is plastic just like you’d find on mechanical pencils and on some pens so don’t just get it for the clip because plastic clips do eventually break just an f.y.i. and for those who like the double tap feature the sleeve does have an opening for you to be able to use that, now some people do say that it’s not easy to charge the gen 2 with the sleeve so if that’s the case then you can just slide it off easily so no problem there either so I definitely recommend this sleeve for the gen 2 though it is definitely not for the gen 1 and do not just rely on the first picture shown either because that’s what I did expecting it to be fully round which is why I thought that it would fit my gen 1 only to have it be a square side with an opening for the double tap feature. I contacted customer service that basically said it was my fault and told me to return it but due to not wanting to go through the hassle of all that and still loving the color and planning to get the gen 2 sometime in the future I decided to keep it with the hope that one day they will bring back the Watermelon Red sleeve for the gen 1 pencil so…but for gen 2 it’s great.

It fits my Apple Pencil sooooooo good! It’s comfortable when writing and editing… definitely want to get other colors

Love the cover for apple pen! Even love the color but it doesn’t charge when placed on top of the iPad. It definitely give a nice look and a better grip to it!

It looks great on the Apple Pencil. But that’s the furthest I can go. It does not charge while in the case. The case is pointless. I’ve rotated the pencil and it did not charge. Will be returning.

I have been looking for a "case" for my apple pencil that still allows it to stick to my iPad and charge. I like the feel of this case and it's cute. It does still stick to the iPad, but it is not a very strong hold. It also does not charge with the case on. I take a lot of notes, so it does feel much better with the case.

I bought this to protect my new apple pen after the old one was ruined from wear and tear and this is the perfect protector for it. It’s also made writing comfortable.

As someone who loses things a lot, this has been a life saver. It’s been on my iPad for over a year now, no pulling at the edges, still looks clean & has no stretching so it still holds the pencil in tight

Ich habe einige Sleeves gekauft (Bleistift, Katze, normale Hüllen, diese Grip Dinger...) und dieses hier bietet für wirklich wenig Geld alles was mir bei den anderen immer teilweise oder ganz gefehlt hat- Der Stift dockt fest ans Ipad an und lädt, koppelt- Die Hülle macht den Stift dicker was angenehm für lange Sessions ist, aber nicht zu dick- Die Seite die andockt ist dabei flach (und im Vergleich zu anderen sehr dünn) der Rest rund. Das sieht mMn schön aus und man fühlt es nicht. Im Gegenteil, ich platziere dadurch den Stift so in meiner Hand, dass ich die shortcut-seite auch finde.- Der shortcut Bereich ist außerdem geriffelt falls man die Höhe selbst nicht trifft- Die Kappe für die Spitze schließt perfekt mit der Hülle ab- Die Kappe für die Spitze kann passgenau auf die andere Seite gesteckt werden wenn man sie nicht benutzt- Trotzdem gibt es insgesamt 3 kappen, was ich echt süß fand (Ersatz)- die hülle lässt sich leicht anlegen und ist trotzdem fest- den clip brauche ich nicht und man könnte ihn abnehmen aber es sieht schick aus :DIn kurz: wirklich gutes Teil, aus praktischer Sicht braucht man kein anderes mehr

The colour and shape is exactly like on the picture. It’s fitting perfectly my Ipen and it’s makes it much more comfortable
