2.5" - Made in The USA - Anti-Rattle Towing Receiver Tightener

With my truck camper I run a 41" long trailer hitch extension to pull my drift boat. So with the extension any slop in the receiver hitch is magnified back where the boat connects. i was worried that the bolt to tighten things up would not work too well but I was wrong. This is built solid and does exactly what I need it to do. I really like that there is only one bolt to deal with and carry a 15/16" wrench in my trucks door so it is easy to remove and install when needed.

I have tried several other hitch clamps that failed. This one has best design and sturdy bolt. So far worked great on Ram 3500 with 2.5” hitch.

Super clean looking and solid. I much prefer the look of the plate than some of the others being sold. Just know that you may have a clearance issue on the tongue of the clamp if you have a drop hitch with a gusset. 5 minutes with an angle grinder to cut a v-notch in the clamp and it fit perfectly.

All these years of dealing with a rattle when without a load. I had no idea this type of product existed. This thing is Money! No more rattle. Fits a Curt adjustable ball mount (2 1/2"). The Curt ball mount has a steel support at a 45 degree angle right where the Hitch clamp is supposed to sit flush, so it will not sit flush like it probably would with other ball mounts. That said, I tightened it up and have had no issues. Well worth the money...

Love the concept but wouldn't mount to the hitch without rubbing the paint off my bumper on a 2021 ram 2500 night edition. Quality product though!

I have a 2016 Ram pickup with the factory 2.5" hitch receiver. After about a year of towing heavy trailers I noticed the hole for the hitch pin was starting to develop some play, presumably from the pin sliding back and forth with starting and stopping. I also didn't like the clunk I heard as it slid.I bought this hitch clamp because it was the only one I could find that looked like it would fit my truck. It does.When it came, the bolt did not turn easily in the threaded part of the clamp, nor did the lock nut turn freely by hand. I could tell that this was going to be annoying to use so I ran a tap through the threads on the clamp and nut and a die on the bolt. This cleaned up the roughness and made installing the clamp much easier. I know you shouldn't have to repair a brand new product, but I had the tools and it was an easy fix.The first time I installed the clamp onto the hitch I noticed that I had to pull it out about a quarter inch in order to allow the bolt to clear a piece on my truck's receiver hitch. Keeping that in mind, I've been using it successfully for abut a year. It does prevent the clunk from starting and stopping and I haven't seen any more play developing in my hitch. So far, so good.I'd buy this again, and wish I had bought it when the truck was new.
