Style Arc Sewing Pattern - Winsome Dress (Sizes 04-16)

Made it in a soft grey cotton knit blend. So comfortable, I could live in this. I will have more.. The instructions left a little puzzled at times, not entirely clear but worth the effort.

I love these patterns. They aren’t hard and are comfortable to wear!

Sure is hard to believe the prices of patterns these days,, its always the one you like the best that costs the most . I’m leaving one star off due to the price

I made this dress up in a muslin, and was glad I didn’t waste money making it with fashion fabric. The dress has a lot of fabric, especially with the very large pockets around the hips, and wasn’t flattering to my smaller frame. It did fit well across the bust and shoulders. Note that the pattern calls for drapy fabric, and by that, they mean light and very drapy.The instructions are in microscopic print, but were adequate for someone with sewing experience. Of interest, the drawing on the package is inaccurate - the front princess seams on the curve into the neckline, not into the shoulder seam. Most won’t care about this, but it might matter to some.I would recommend choosing a size based on bust measurements, since there is a large amount of fabric in the hip area. In all, this pattern doesn’t give the thin appearance that most people hope for in a princess-line dress, and is not recommended.

I am making this for fall in a navy crepe material. Every pattern I have from style arc is easy to understand and complete easy enough!

The pattern is different and should be very comfortable when I make it.

Love this pattern! The large sizes fit well and are nicely styled to fit. Love the pockets! Made up a version in a polyester - lovely look. Cut a second from flannel to be seen for winter house wear.

Print too small on pattern instructions and details, need magnifying glass to read even with readers.
