I love this little whistle! I bought these whistles for my neighbor and myself to whistle to each other as a calling to hang and drink wine! Little did I know that it is a really good bird whistle. I didn't put enough water in it at first and it worked like a charm with enough water in it. It's a ceramic material and not plastic, so that's a bonus for me, my kids use it all the time and it's loud and pretty accurate if you know how to use it. Great little gift and a great price for the bird lover, for kids and adults, and it's a really great device to call neighbors over to have a drink.

I got these for my grandson. We were amazed at how well they work. He would blow on whistle and birds would reply. Before we knew it there were cardinals landing in the tree near us. The next day three other birds came to the tree. We wondered what it was he was saying to these birds!

These work well when filled with water.

Purchased as gifts for a 5 year old and 3 year old! Sound is realistic, kids loved them!

These make beautiful chirps and scare the crap out of my cats.

You can potentially get some good sounds out of these, but the little metal red ones work far better, these are more of a decoration tbh. One doesn't work very well at all, and the other you have to be super gentle with your blow so the sound isn't very loud. Not terrrrrible, but the cheap little metal ones would probably be better.
