I purchased this way before Christmas, so I never took it out of the box until Christmas eve. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the lights are battery operated, so that enables you to place the cat rug wherever you want. It was a fun decoration; the only thing I thought was misleading is that the description says the lights are running through the rug. Just for future purchasers, the light string is totally separate from the rug and not attached at all. Still a fun item that I will put out again next year.

I absolutely love this product. It's bigger than I thought it would be. I love that the lights that came with it are battery powered makes it easier to set it up. The quality is actually very very good on this product. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. We'll worth the price it's actually a steal at the price.

Christmas Vacation has been a family tradition every year and this makes it that much more fun! Very good quality, size is about that of a real cat. White fluffy fur on one side and black on the other to look like “ Fried pussy cat” lights are included you just display them what ever way suit you. People have complained some of the white fur has some black bleeding from the reverse side. I say So What! Just adds more character !! It’s all about fun and memories. So very happy with my purchase.

It is a funny decor. But get it on sale. It’s a bit flimsy

So I'm a fan of the Christmas Vacation movie. Decided that for my office door decorating contest I'd do an ode to that movie which of course screamed for this cat. I stuck it to the door. It comes with the Christmas lights which take 3 AA batteries, and they last pretty well. When I took this "rug" home, the cats hopped right on and enjoyed! LOL I'm not sure they realized the significance. Anyway, recommend. This is a fun decoration that those who watch Christmas Vacation will recognize and want for themselves!

My husband is a HUGE Christmas Vacation fan....like HUGE! I ordered this a little later than I wanted too but it came earlier than expected. So kudos to them! It was just like the picture and it was the perfect added gift to his Christmas Vacation collection. Thank you for making this gift one he loved the most.

Overall it’s a good product but the photos show an eclectic string of lights. Some show color and a couple show white. It comes with white battery operated lights. Batteries did not last long. I didn’t purchase it for the lights so I only removed 1 star. Still funny but good to know before buying.
