Great price and shelf life
I was thinking of a barbecue pulled pork mealwhich, but that didn't go over to well. Then I remembered an old recipe from an old Zoom magazine I used to get as a kid, about mixing tuna and peanut butter. Well I did, made a sandwich and it tasted great! Much better flavor than with using tuna. I'm an ok cook, but trying to fake like I know what I'm doing with meat doesn't seem to work well lol. This is good can of pork, lots of grease and suspended in some kind of oil. Might go good on a barbecue pizza? Get a decent amount for the price. Worth it if you don't use pork that much but wanna have some on hand for a few years, just in case. Definitely going to order more of this for sandwiches.

Canned meats FANTASTIC
I used these well before lockdown since I'm disabled and can't cook as much as I used to. Also being a two person family with one a vegan - buying it like this is convenient. The quality of the meats is incredible! These meats are cooked in the can so all the flavor of the meat is contained. Versatile using in cold salads, hot dishes or as is I notice wildly varied prices, all higher than pre lockdown. I think many people getting this proct for three times what I paid andmy recent payment is more than it was when I first used it over a year previously. I think those hoard and sell at what the market will bear are rasponsible for all those dented cans atthree times the price. The “water” in the cans is only the natural moisture from the meat.

Tasty but ...
The pork was good, but when I opened the can, gobs of fat nearly covered the surface of the meat. I couldn't dig it out with a spoon so I poured it in a colander and ran hot water over the fat until it dissolved. I expected some fat in pulled pork since it's best cooked with a fatty cut, but this was excessive. I've bought canned pork before (Harvest Creek) and there wasn't nearly as much fat as Keystone. However, the pork was good and I will buy it again.

Better than I Expected
I had some doubts about buying this because it’s in a can, so I didn’t expect it to be as good as fresh. But this was better than I expected. The meat was very tender, and it doesn’t taste too salty. It doesn’t look appealing when you first open the can because the fat is solid at room temperature. But when you heat it up, the fat turns to liquid and adds moistness and flavor. I got four portions out of this. It may not be as good as homemade, but I think it’s close. I’ll buy this again. It’s good to have something that stays good on the shelf for a long time.

I dunno...
...maybe I didn't cook it right. I used it for tomato sauce. I wanted to add an easy pork to my sauce, (other than the ground pork I usually use), but this product seemed to make the recipe I've used for 30-odd years excessively salty. To be fair: It's the first time I used it.

Excellent product!
Perfect for quick BBQ sandwiches, soups, noodles etc... I'm a fan of old-fashioned proccessing. Nothing extra, just meat, a little salt, and it's cooked in the can... Done. The juices and fats are exactly what you would get in your own pan, and the flavor & texture is just that. Good clean protien, try it! :)
