It has a very large readout so that you will be able to see the numbers from across the room, even if you're near-sighted. It is basic and simple, with just three buttons that are used to set the time (up to 99 minutes), start/stop and clear. The timer counts up by pressing start or counts down with a specified setting. You can adjust the alarm bell from loud to soft. It has three small magnets on the back that firmly adhere it to anything metal, the front or side of your refrigerator for instance, or you can pull out the small stand to set it on a counter. It also has a place at the top for inserting a hook or string for hanging. Runs on one AAA battery (not included).
