These are perfect! Comfortable and tight but not painful tight. Long enough to go all the way to the knee and slightly above it.

These are thick compression socks that are reasonably comfortable. The top band is too narrow for me, and I often had to keep the band from rolling down. Finally, I folded it over and it stayed. This is a common problem with wide calf compression socks. The feet fit well and the support was good enough to prevent leg and foot swelling. The colors are varied and good. I do not like psychedelic weird colors! Overall I recommend Bams, but they are not my favorites. Doctor's Choice are my favorites.

As a plus size woman, I understand that not every garment is created equal. I was having some swelling due to a medical procedure and my doctor said I should be wearing compression socks. But I wasn’t finding socks that would fit without cutting off circulation and causing pain. My PT said I should look for “wide calf” sizing. I found dozens of pairs, priced outrageously high to the too cheap to be real. Then I found BAMS, offering my size in an assortment of colors and prints. The price wasn’t too bad and I liked some of the designs. I ordered the pink argyle and black with blue toes. They fit pretty well. My first pairs, so I’m getting used to them for their intended purpose. They are really soft. Easy to pull on - there’s no tug-of-war to get them in place. My legs and feet feel so much better, and I am able to get some walking done that was too painful before the socks. My hubby says we should get some more once I’m completely comfortable with these. Hopefully the price will come down some and that they offer more colors and designs for their larger sizes.

Due to swelling I have very large calves. Even though the point of compression socks is to help with swelling I find many don’t fit well. These are perfect! My feet don’t hurt at the end of the day and my swelling is much better!

They are too tight across the top of the foot. Also, inside the stitching leaves indentation on your legs. I do like the bigger calf area and they go up to the back of the knee. Another plus is they aren't tight across the toes. I'd probably buy again but I'd get a size bigger and a solid color.

Very easy to put on and high quality. They are true to size, a nice medium weight and the compression is great. They made my legs feel wonderful.
