Changing from 1 to 4, but still keep in mind of serious issues.
Realtek 9210B is the name of the chip inside the SSD+HUB which is well known to be faulty without firmware updates. SSD won't detect, SD near unresponsive if fault present.Just search the chip for issues. Several people are faced it across various brands, and only unofficial firmwares on station-drivers exist, which would update only if the device was getting correctly detected but it didn't on the first piece I received. Extremely unstable chip. This detection issue if encountered needs more tech proficient people to do it over Linux to update it due to SCSI limitations in Windows. SD card also keep dropping as it uses Genesys Logic SD card reader which came inbuilt with 2021 macbooks and it used to drop and be faulty there too.Third problem is the hub having been assigned generic vendor and product codes. If you have driverpacks in your system or auto windows update, it can update wrong drivers and break all your keyboard, mice, bluetooth, camera and so on with a nucleasys RPC USBshare drivers; worst even cause boot blue screen if legacy USB is enabled in bios.I didn't want to investigate further so immediately went for return but only option is replacement. That said, though replacement piece looks to be a used piece with outer plastic not present and piece being dusty; but it seems to be actually working, and even got to update firmware seamlessly, so I won't go for return now.
