This is one of those tools that after having, I don't know how I did washout. Battery life is not exceptional, but is adequate. Before I used a sabre saw with tree trimming blade, but this is much lighter and faster, Perfect for trimming limbs and shrubs. Works great in combination with a larger chain saw when you down a tree and need to cut off the limbs since it is much easier to work with.

I use it first time out of the box without first fully charge the batteries. The first battery last just few cuts. The second one still has juice left after finished the job. I mainly use it to cut small low branches. It serve the purpose what I bought it for. Light weight and easy to use. I'll update the batteries life after fully charged and use it again.

Perfect size for small person

This is a nice, compact size chainsaw. There were several things that I was impressed with before even trying it: (1) it comes with a nice hard-plastic case, (2) it includes safety equipment such as glasses and gloves, (3) it comes with 2x batteries for double the power and a charging cable, (4) it also comes with an extra chain just in case I break it some day. It's very user friendly, and the saw pivots several degrees which is helpful if you are cutting branches over your head.One item to be aware of is that the saw chain does not have self-oiling capabilities. Most large gas-powered saws contain an oil reservoir and the chain is lubricated as you are using the saw. You will need to manually oil the chain on this saw before and during use (and buy your own bar and chain oil separately). The manual states this, but it was something I didn't even think about before I started to use it.I plan to use this saw mostly for trail maintenance. I'll put it in a backpack (with the battery removed) and then use it when I'm out on a hike and come across a tree down on the trail. It will be great for this, given its small size and light weight.

I used this item as soon as it arrived and used it to cut small tree trunks. One thing I realize with this chain saw is that it really does the work, cuts fast and easy to handle. However, user needs to make sure not to overwork the motor and have good time intervals between jobs. When handled with care, this chain saw will last long. The extra battery that comes with the unit is also very helpful as it extends the time a job can be done, but of course allowing the motor to cool down before doing multiple jobs at a time. I would highly recommend this product.
