Works perfectly to contain fish feeding!

I have always used the square or the ring. It really keeps the flakes in one place. The only problem I have with this little floater is the suction cup. After a while the rubber gets so hard, it will not stay on the glass. I have boiled the suction cup and it restores the suction for a while, but eventually it won't function any longer. Fortunately, they are not too expensive.

Nothing wrong with the product at all in fact it is great!! Note though if you have an aqueon filter for a 10-20 gal you may need to trim the swivel shorter I cut mine and Burt it back together to make it shorter and it’s perfect now before it was sitting in the edge of the square and now the flow goes into the ring leaving my duckweed and red root floaters alone completely!! Amazing product I do recommend 😁

It stuck to the glass fine and has a nice hinge point for where the tether for the plastic rod/string attaches to the floating square and tank. However, the lack of flexibility in the rod/string makes it very hard to keep it level at times, as well as when the water level changes due to my plant light, and has led to plant matter getting into the square, which was the purpose of me getting this. It is easy to accidentally install it off kilter and you have to have it just right to make sure outside substrate does not enter; it does not have a large lip to help negate the margin for error. If you are better than me at gauging the water level you have day to day + filter flow with the length of plastic cordage connected to suction cup, or if you don’t have floating plants, go for it. However, if you want something a tad more flexible that will move with your water, keep plants out, and stay level- this maybe isn’t it. If it was thicker(taller) I feel this wouldn’t be as much of an issue, but it is pretty thin.

The square containment portion doesn't float very well, so the food just floated out of it, making it basically useless.

Using a 1.5 gallon tank so it's a little large but for a 5+ it would be perfect. Not saying I'm disappointed though I love this thing. I got it for my fish to be able to eat without chasing his food but I plan on moving it to the filter to direct water flow and keep his water flow to one spot. I've got duck weed on top of my tank so this will be perfect to keep the plants and food in their right home. Definitely would but again

Works great when it’s not floating around the tank. Wanted to train my fish to go to it during feeding time but it floats around when the suction loses grip, so not very effective

Cheaper than the local pet store and they have great suction cups! I use one to put their food in and I use the other as a barrier for floating plants, to keep them from getting in the filter flow and to place the more fragile plants in them until they grow.
