This bike was packaged perfectly, not a scratch. I did lots of research prior to buying. Good batteries are the key. Samsung or lg is what you should look for. The bike was advertised at 28mph, which I assumed was the case. Most ebikes can be “unlocked” through a sub menu on the screen, this bike cannot. It requires an upgraded controller which sells for 150.00. Learning this only few hours after submitting order. I tried to cancel order and support reached out very quickly. I was greeted by the nicest lady and they wanted me to be satisfied. She would have canceled my order but asked if I would be willing to pay shipping fees and they would send me controller, bigger seat, and lock. Wow! Freesky has communicated every step of the way and I couldn’t be more impressed and satisfied! Bike came on time and after 30 minutes of putting together, I was off and riding. The bike is solid and I’m 6’5” 240lbs. It pulled me in pas up my driveway at 28mph. The bike is great but the company is 5 stars in my book! Thank you Freesky!

I purchased a Freesky Rocky ebike in last October through Amazon. As I recalled, the bike was shipped in a very protective packaging. After unpacked everything, it took me less than 2 hours to assemble the bike using the tools provided in the package. Most of the parts were already pre-assembled and therefore it didn’t take long. After I charged up the battery, I took it for a ride, everything appeared to work properly as expected.From the look and feel of all components and the rides, my feeling is that this is a very good quality bike for the money and hopefully it will last for a long time since I will only use it for pleasure and perhaps getting a little exercise on my retirement. I try not to use the motor assist so much until I get tired then I use the throttle to go home. So far I only used the bike several times, so far so good and I will use it much more as the weather warm up in my area.Customer support. After purchase, I also received a couple follow up emails from a customer support in case I needed any help and this was nice.

I was shipped a bike with a defective crank. When I reported it, the seller said it was my fault and due to installation error, which is absolutely not true. The other pedal fit on the opposite crank perfectly fine, it’s a threading issue. They admitted this happens regularly, tried to stop me from returning the bike by offering a replacement crank but why should I have to go out and buy the tools to do that? The return process has been an absolute nightmare, as they have the discretion to keep part of the refund. I’ve never had any issues returning a defective item before this.

I have a lot to say about this bike, mostly good. It arrived well packed. Every single item was carefully wrapped. However the screw that holds the front fender and headlight was gone. We found it rolling around at the bottom of the box. Not a real problem, but odd considering the care of the rest of the packing. This bike looks really good. We got the black model and it looks great with gold lettering. It runs like a dream. The seat that comes with it is a narrow mountain bike seat. That may be fine for some, but we replaced it with a wider one. The battery (which according to customer support is made by Samsung) charges with no problem and holds a charge well. However, the charger box is made of molded plastic and has no fan (as my other bike's charger does) and it heats up to a frightening degree-- enough that it's too hot to touch. I keep an eye on it when charging. You should too. Also, the battery just has two settings with the key, on and unlock. You cannot turn the bike off and leave the battery in it. The display screen is full color and very pretty (in darkness), but, like an iPad, it's hard to read in the direct sun. The headlight is very bright, the brightest I've seen on an ebike. It's really nice. Our one big problem was a defective shifter. It worked fine, but the needle didn't indicate the correct gear. The customer support required us to take a video and send it to them, and then promised to send the part. We would have to take the part to a bike repair and have it installed and they promised to reimburse us the cost. However, weeks have gone by and we haven't received the part. I don't even know if we would bother to replace it anyway, as it works fine and nobody really looks at the gear number anyway. We shift based on feel. Despite this problem, I would recommend this bike. It's good looking and rides well. Just be careful when charging (which is good advice for any ebike).Update: We finally received the replacement part. One other thing of note. This bike is really well made, but the fenders are plastic rather than metal and that may impact their durability in hot climates.

Received my well packed e-bike in a huge box. It only took 20-30 minutes to assemble. This bike is built well. I was so surprised on the power and speed on my first the test ride. I was like a kid in a candy store. This bike is awesome! Great things are coming in the future. It is a great alternate of the Harley Motorcycle that my wife and daughter wouldn't let me get. All my friends are sayin', that bike is BADA$$!

Somewhat of a delay, delivering it upon delivery the front fender was damaged. Very good correspondence. They assured me they are sending me a fender. It’s been somewhat of a delay other than that. Very very, very pleased. Incredible product.

I needed a e-bike that was a little lower to the ground and more maneuverable than my other big framed bike. This bike was an excellent choice! It works great for long stretches, as well as going through the city and maneuvering around people and obstacles. I am very happy with it. Customer service was so personable and supportive too!

Easy assembly following the you tube video and well written owners manual.I managed to get the handle bar backwards to start lol.Really took about 1 hour.Was charged so took it for a quick ride.My other bike is 500watt.This is a rocket off the line.I don't have the unlocked version that is quite expensive.I found the stock seat a bit thin.So I installed a cloud 9 and have ordered a similar seat for my Rize.The derailleur is very smooth.

Recieved The bike over a month ago. Assembled it in a breeze. I mostly use it to commute to work. Lost the kickstand extension on my very 1st ride.The major factor that made me buy this model was the "Anti Puncture" feature that they advertise...Until the back tire had a flat that made me miss work!Not impressed at all !!!!!
