Good value but WiFi setup can be challenging
A nice little weather station in most respects. A big bright display with lots of info, though I could've lived without the "forecast" icon, which takes up screen room and doesn't add much. The basic set-up is very easy, and communication between the outside sensor and the display is solid. The manual is well-written with a few organizational quirks. Note that the instructions for connecting to WiFi is near the back in Section 13, and that's where the trouble is. (The WiFi connection is separate from the communication between the sensor and display—WiFi allows you to connect to WeatherCloud and WeatherUnderground).I struggled with the WiFi connection for several days. The main problem is that the station will only accept connections on the 2.4 GHz band. If you have a dual band router (2.4 and 5 GHz) you must disable the 5 GHz band or you won't be able to connect no matter what you do! If your router has only 2.4 GHz, you should have no problem. Just follow the instruction in the manual. But with a dual band router, you'll have to log into the router's set-up page and disable the 5 GHz connection. It probably helps to be a bit of a computer geek to feel comfortable doing that, but it's relatively straightforward. You can Google your particular router for instructions. My problem was more complicated. I have an Optimum dual band modem/router, and Optimum does not allow you to access the router's set-up page. When you type in the router's IP address (for example, 192.168.1.1), it just takes you to an Optimum page with very limited options and no way to disable 5 GHz. (This is close to criminal, in my view.) I don't know if all Optimum routers are like this, or if other companies have routers with the same limitation, but here's the way I eventually solved the problem. Maybe it will help others with the same issue.I had an old 2.4 GHz router lying around (the Dlink Dir-601). I installed this as a second router on my network. You should be able to install the second router without accessing the primary router's set-up page as long as you know the primary router's IP address. Numerous YouTube videos explain the process. (This may take a little research. You can't just connect the second router to the primary router with a cable and expect it to work. Just Google "connect two routers" for the procedure.)I had my primary modem/router connected to the PC with an Ethernet cable. Once the 601 was installed, I disabled the primary router (under Network, Change Adapter Settings in Windows). That meant that all connections went through the 601 using the 2.4 GHz band. I could then follow the instructions in the Sainlogic manual and easily access the WiFi set-up page (192.168.5.1) and follow the instructions in the manual. When I finished, I just enabled the primary router again, and all was fine.If you're reasonably comfortable with slightly geeky computer stuff, nothing here is very difficult, but it is needlessly complicated. I fault both Sainlogic and Optimum. If Sainlogic firmware provided for dual band connection, the whole process would be ridiculously easy. If Optimum allowed access to the modem's set-up page, the process would be almost as easy. As it is, it can be extremely frustrating and discouraging. At best, it requires a fair bit of fiddling. But the weather station itself seems to be quite decent and a good value for the price.

A company that stands behind their product
I purchased this weather station on Dec 8, 2021. It was purchased to replace an older unit which started eating batteries to the tune of 1 full set in the outdoor transmitter every few months. The SainLogic WS0310 Pro station worked flawlessly from the second it was installed, giving accurate readings at all levels. About June of 2022 it started dropping functions first UV and sunlight, then all transmissions on July 16. I contacted customer service at SainLogic who replaced the outside unit. It is again transmitting flawlessly. They definitely stand behind their product and provided me with the replacement outdoor transmitter within a few days.I appreciate the speed and efficiency of their service and recommend this company to all who are looking for not only good quality equipment at areasonable price but great customer service as well.

Works great, great support!
I purchased two of these weather stations, one for each of my homes. Setup and configuration was straightforward and simple, both were up and running on WeatherUnderground within a few minutes of setup.I purchased them mainly based on the size and brightness of the display, and they haven't disappointed. One of them had a failure of the solar panel in the sensing unit a few months after it was put into service. A few emails back and forth with Sainlogic to determine where the issue existed and they ended up sending me a replacement sensing unit, which was great! If there were any negatives, it would be that this unit only measures rate of rainfall, not a total. However, if you're using an online app like WeatherUnderground to monitor your station it will show cumulative rainfall based on the time and rate, so the data is still there, just not on the local display. All in all I'm very pleased and would highly recommend.

Nice weather station
After looking at every weather station on Amazon, I chose this one because it's the only one that tells you the dew point. Dew point is much more analogous to how humid it feels than RH. It is accurate and reliable. I just wish I could keep the birds from pooping in the rain gauge!

The batteries don't charge- have to replace them after 9 months
I expected the solar panel on the outdoor unit would charge the batteries in it. In the information provided, I don't find where it says either way on the issue- only in the manual provided with the unit does it state that it won't, and rechargeable batteries are not recommended. I also expected that the indoor unit would charge rechargeable batteries with the DC power supply provided. I don't find that issue mentioned, but I found that the batteries in it were also dead after 9 months. This was my first purchase of a weather station, and I expected that since it connects to the Internet, that I would be able to access its information with an app. I only find that the station can report to weather services, and through those services, you can see some of its outdoor information. You can't access the information regarding the indoor conditions of your home or business. It would be nice if an app was provided for direct access, and it's sad that even though the indoor and outdoor unit have external power, you still have to consume batteries with this system. As far as accuracy, I find that the temperature often shows hotter than it should, and the same for humidity in the mornings. I suspect it's difficult to read accurate temperature with a relatively small device that has to be in the sun in order to meet the conditions for wind accuracy.
