GREAT quick stories for big kids learning to listen to longer passages instead of just baby books.
I really love these 5-minute story books. Of course, your kid will probably zone in on an handful of them and ignore the others, but TRUST ME, it may surprise you which ones they lock onto. For example, Wall-E. Really?? Loved that one and then we had to get the movie, etc. I love these because there are a lot of words on each page and just a few pictures per page. It's a great transition for big-kids that are transitioning to listening to long passages instead of just one-line-per-page-rhyming books. It's also great because it involves characters that he is familiar with but (in most cases) it's not the exact story from the movie. It's as if they took a detour from the main story in the movie or its a follow up story. For example, the Monster Inc. one is from the time-period when they are making kids laugh instead of scream. One of the Toy Story ones is where they are all living with Bonnie. I think the Wall-E one is a condensed version of the movie, but that is the only one I can think of that is that way.Overall, I think these 5-minute books are wonderful. There are tons of them out there -- Pixar, Disney Princesses, Spiderman, Marvel, and even some with classic Disney. You won't regret your purchase!

By far the best of the "5" Minute books.
This was by far the best of the "5" Minute stories. We have about 10 of them. We have the "Marvel" etc ones, and those are pretty short, and fairly boring for older kids. These stories are slightly longer than usual, they were unique stories, not just short recaps of the movies, and there were several. Took us a couple weeks to read one each night, and my 5 year old was very excited to place his book mark and see what story was tomorrow. The book fairy will be bringing more of these.(We put books under his pillow randomly, makes him very excited to read. We tell him that if he helps other's, the book fairy will bring him rewards. He holds doors open all over town, says please, thank you etc).

Fun, fast stories
I ordered this book as a gift for my 3 year old nephew. I like that the stories are short, so that you can choose to read just one in a relatively short amount of time (for nights when you want to get them to sleep quick) or a few (for nights when you want to linger). I also like that these stories are not about just one specific Disney movie, but about many characters. The pictures are great - lively and colorful.

Great books for kids of various ages!
I love the 5-minute story books. We have all of them! The stories are perfect for little ones. The illustrations are nice and the stories keep them interested. My older son actually reads them himself. He likes the stories, but as an early reader, just out of kindergarten, they take him a bit longer than 5-minutes. I would say around 10-15 minutes per story. We've been such fans of this series that we often buy them as gifts!

Disney quality.
High production values -- the paper, the drawings, the language, the positive messages. Nice balance of amount of text/pictures for toddlers looking for a longer story and parents who don't want to spend 20 minutes on one story. Good value for money. A huge hit with our 4-yr-old!

Great book
Love this. It makes bed time so much easier and fun. However, I feel like it takes longer than 5 minutes for the stories. But that is fine with me! I love how it is different characters so every night isn’t the same.

3 year old loves it!!
Super cute original stories with my son’s favorite characters. We read it over and over. Thank goodness they’re only 5 minute stories because my son wants me to read all of them before bed rather than picking 1 or 2 (which is normally my plan)
