Good item that serves its purpose

Happy with receiving item but why say in the description that it doesn’t come with battery’s and then say it doesn’t acquire battery’s but it does? Confusing and False information

Bought this to test a (possibly) diamond ring.Initially it lit all the right lights and made the rightnoises to say it was a diamond.But then I read the instructions (lol), used it properly and got a different reading. 😩Its not especially hard to use properly, but its not just ‘press the button and get an instant answer.’ either.you have to estimate the number of carats in the stone (not actually hard to do), and take account of the temperature of the room you are in.you also have to hold the meter correctly and ensure your fingers are not too dry… and… as for telling between diamond and other stones that are passed off as diamonds, well for that you may need a loupe & possibly an extra meter as well (the white one, where you see pairs of these meters sold together). So in summary it works to an extent, but is probably not going to give me all the answers I would like. BTW some versions of this meter claim to be able to identify other gemstones as well. this one doesn’t make that claim, nor does so, as far as I can work out.

Bought this product to test some jewellery. Not very accurate and quite difficult to use, found I had to press really hard to get any results. Not recommended.

Loose wires inside it , cheep rubbish

Great little tester, easy to use when it’s warmed up.Shows instantly if diamonds are real or not.

Love it and works perfect.U really need to know how to work one though to no it works.love mine and tested diomands on real diomands happy buyer x
